Please find below answers to key questions related to our temporarily suspended voyages and new policies.
It’s evident that given current Government guidance and global travel restrictions our revised date of November 2020 to resume sailing is not feasible. We have always maintained that we will not return our fleet to sea until it is safe for our guests and crew, and we are able to offer our guests the cruise vacation they expect from us. As we work through the evolving guidelines and restrictions put into place across the world, future itineraries may be subject to change and so to give you further reassurance, we have put in place a policy to provide flexibility over the coming months. Details of this, along with the latest updates, are posted on our website.
Newly paused voyages:
Queen Mary 2 up to including April 18, 2021
Queen Victoria up to including May 16, 2021
V010 – V110
In March, we paused all operations across our ships, and are currently reviewing every aspect of the Cunard experience. This has also prompted us to assess future itineraries and whether any should be replaced by some of the more popular voyages that have been impacted. We have taken the decision to cancel voyages on Queen Mary 2 departing between January 3, 2022, and April 3, 2022, and on Queen Elizabeth due to depart between March 26, 2021, and December 13, 2021.

For help during the online booking process, refer to our Future Cruise guide.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer this at present.
Where the cost of the new cruise is more than the Future Cruise Credit, guests can simply pay the difference between the value of the Future Cruise Credit and the deposit or balance payment (if within final payment of voyage departure date).
Please note, deposits are calculated against the remaining balance after your Future Cruise Credit has been applied. The Future Cruise Credit cannot be used against the cost of this deposit.
If you would like to use your Future Cruise Credit as payment across multiple Cunard voyages, please contact your Travel Advisor or call our Customer Service Department.
If booking online, your total Future Cruise Credit balance will be applied against the cost of the new voyage you are booking online. If your Future Cruise Credit balance is greater than the cost of your chosen voyage, your remaining Future Cruise Credit balance will be retained for use towards the payment of another voyage.
Future Cruise Credits will be created for all guests on the booking.
The original Future Cruise Credit value will be returned to you. You will then receive a further 125% Future Cruise Credit for the additional funds paid on the booking (if the booking was partially paid) or the difference between the cruise fare less the Future Cruise Credit on the booking (if the booking was paid in full).

Queen Mary 2 -Itinerary changes
As a result of our extended pause in operations, we have been reviewing our future itineraries to understand if any should be replaced by some of those popular itineraries impacted.
Consequently, we have made the difficult decision to cancel voyages on Queen Mary 2 departing between January 3, 2022, and April 3, 2022, including the 55-night South America voyage, our Norway & Northern Lights voyage and some Transatlantic Crossings.
The cancelation of these 2022 Queen Mary 2 voyages enables us to operate her most popular World Voyage from New York to Australia, via the Suez Canal. This is based on Queen Mary 2’s disrupted itinerary from this year as well as the now canceled equivalent that was due to sail in 2021.
Queen Mary 2 will embark on a classic 118-night World Voyage roundtrip New York from January 3 to May 1, 2022. Sailing through the Suez Canal and back, she will journey to ports including Dubai, Sri Lanka, and Singapore before reaching southeast Australia. The itinerary features overnight stays in Haifa, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Sydney, plus a late-night departure from Colombo.

If you have sailed with Cunard before, you qualify to receive up to $4,000 per stateroom* off our Launch Fares on 2022 Queen Mary 2 World voyages when booked by December 6, 2020.

Queen Elizabeth Itinerary Changes
With Queen Elizabeth having returned to the United Kingdom during our pause in operations, and with ongoing uncertainty over the re-opening of ports and countries on her intended routes next year, it is sadly not practical to continue as planned.
We have therefore made the difficult decision to cancel Queen Elizabeth’s voyages due to depart between March 26, 2021 and December 13, 2021.
Queen Elizabeth will make her return to the United Kingdom and European waters in March 2021, before returning to Australia in December.
Across her 2021 season, she’ll call at 101 ports in 20 countries over ten months, with a selection of voyages ranging from 3 to 23 nights there’s sure to be a voyage to appeal to all. This includes the introduction of all-new scenic cruising around the magnificent coasts of England, Ireland, and Scotland, as well as a unique city break voyage, with an overnight call in Amsterdam. With further departures from Southampton covering destinations from the tip of Norway to the Iberian Coast, Queen Elizabeth will – for the first time since 2014 - then embark on a series of cruises in the Mediterranean, departing from Barcelona. Her European season then closes as she returns to Australia, on a grand voyage with calls to Singapore and Sri Lanka and lastly Melbourne. Click here for further details.
Yes. Queen Elizabeth will be returning to Australia at the end of 2021 and Japan in early 2022. We’re also extremely excited to announce that later this year we will be publishing new itineraries on sale for all ships through to the end of 2022. This will include Queen Elizabeth visiting Alaska and Australia once again.
All new itineraries on board Queen Elizabeth will go on sale on September 29, 2020, on Cunard.com at 2am PT / 5am ET, or via our Customer Service department at 6am PT / 9an ET or with your preferred Travel Advisor. Click here for further details.
If you have sailed with Cunard before, you qualify to receive $200 Onboard Credit per stateroom† on 2021 Queen Elizabeth voyages when booked by November 18, 2020.
