Experience the dramatic scenery of Lysefjord during a leisurely boat ride, with majestic views of towering Pulpit Rock.

Lysefjord, Norway’s most southerly major fjord, stretches through the landscape for over 25 miles. As you sail through steep rugged mountains, some of which stretch to over 3,300 feet, you’ll pass cascading waterfalls and spot the occasional dwelling, clinging high up on the rocky terrain.

But the fjord’s crowing jewel is Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock – one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Norway. Soaring from sea level to 1,982 feet, this sheer, granite cliff face appears as if it were cut from the surrounding rock with a knife. On a clear day, you will be able to see the rock with its flat plateau proudly jutting out above you.

During your journey you’ll stop for coffee, tea, and freshly-made waffles.
