Lose yourself in one of the world’s greatest art collections – the Hermitage.

Housed in what was once the splendid home of the Czars, the Hermitage is so vast it would take a lifetime to experience all of its treasures. Occupying over 1,000 rooms and halls, the collection includes pieces from every historical period, including works of Da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, and Van Dyke, among others.

You will also be amazed by the dazzling palace itself. Built during the reigns of Elizabeth and Catherine the Great, the grandiose, baroque Winter Palace is embellished with its patterned parquet floors, ornate staircases, and moulded and painted ceilings. As you stroll through the various rooms your guide will regale you with fascinating facts about the museum’s history, art, and architecture.

En route to the Hermitage you’ll see the Neva River Embankment, Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, Admiralty, and Peter-and-Paul Fortress.
