Help the single travellers to meet or at least recognise each other. Please

Delicious food. Wonderful staff. Dreadful excursions. looking out of a bus window, the bus having no loo. However, the boat was so great that no incentive to disembark. One week of luxury. My complaint is the solos treatment. So many families send their widowed mothers and lonely widower dads on a cruise in the hope they will make some friends. FRIENDS not a marriage mart. I would love to be a cruise hostess for singles. Coffee mornings at 11.00 -not 9.30am. Who feels social at that hour? drinks before lunch or tea in the afternoon. I had a travel companion. A friend. I hoped to help him meet someone nearer his own age. To start a circle of friends. Not possible! We did eventually have a meeting at 5.30pm, but the four people I had persuaded to come, saw nobody, no table with a sign, or teacups, so they just scuttled away. Please hear me! The QM2 had a good circle, by the way.

Thank you Cunard, for an excellent cruise

As usual, Cunard live up to expectations with a most enjoyable and relaxing voyage. Despite the difficulties with the COVID restrictions, the cruise was well organised and efficient, with first class food and great entertainment. All the staff were excellent and made all the passengers feel safe and welcome. Two to mention in particular were Mark our Cabin Steward and Tomoe on the Pursers desk who went the extra mile to make our trip so brilliant. Thank you

Excellent trip. Staff were brilliant. Entertainment, food and lectures were all first class. I would recommend sailing with Cunard, and would certainly book a longer cruise in the future with them. Only fly in the ointment is trying to contact customer relations. You really need to brush up on this, because hanging on the phone line for 56 minutes and then being cut off, and sending three emails before getting a response is not the mark of a top company. You must lose customers because of this. I would certainly rebook, but would not be happy with a repeat of the above.

A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

The breakfast service in Britannia restaurant was slow and not in keeping with the Cunard image and expectation. The 'hot' food was at times luke warm and the food orders were occasionally incorrect. The quality of the toast leaves a lot to be desired and the texture was more akin to a brick than a piece of bread. The service did improve however after complaining to the maitre'd, but it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. In addition, my state room did not include the use of bath robes as none were supplied. It did however, include a copy of the end of cruise account statement for the previous occupant on the previous voyage. Not Cunard like at all and very disturbing. I will be writing to Cunard direct about these issues.

I just had an amazing 4 night UK coastal trip onboard Cunard Queen Elizabeth, I had a great time and every staff I met is really friendly particularly those photographers at the photo gallery. I was surprised that my room was cleaned several times per day. I will definitely travel with Cunard again!

Excellent cruise on Queen Elizabeth

Looked after us exceptionally well. Every request either in the restaurant or our suite was granted. We felt relaxed and happy when we left the ship. Cannot wait for another cruise

Very good food in Britannia club but service a bit haphazard, Coffee in restaurant was awful. Some areas of the ship were very cols.

Great to be back on a Cunard liner at sea.

I have traveled with Cunard for many years. An old reputable company with many lovely traditional valves. I realise it’s the 21st century, but afternoon tea, formal evenings and a strict dress code are not what everyone wants. I personally love it. Service excellent ,food excellent, cleanliness excellent, entertainment very good. Insight lectures on this cruise very good to excellent.. Please Cunard don’t keep cutting back , because there are many cheaper cruise lines out there. The solo occupancy of a stateroom is extortionate, and the best solo stateroom is ocean view.There are many extras internet , gratuity, surcharge on drinks all very high even the spa pool is extra. I realise prices have increased everywhere, and Covid and Brexit have not helped, but we all want good value for money. Crystal cruises include everything so do Regent. Yes they are more expensive at the outset, but if you add up Cunard extras NO they are better value. The Cunard Queens are magnificent ships much loved, but competition is stiff. Cunard keep our little extras and luxuries and the standard high or you will loose loyal customers to other companies.

Relaxing and nice to be back on board after a two year break

The level of service and the quality of the food was exceptional. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful We were always met with a smile. The entertainment was enjoyable and interesting.

A lovely relaxing break

We have done a few cruises with Cunard. Always a very pleasant experience. The food was very good. Stateroom in Princess grill was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The ship Queen Elizabeth looks beautiful. Excellent service all round.

Disappointed

Disappointed Dinner . Food not up to the usual standard in the Britannia restaurant ( dry as though food had been on the plate too long .) There was no longer a dress code Britannia restaurant . I was put on a table with people in jeans . ( not what I expect for what I consider the highlight of the day ) There seems to be a new system . booking your time in the restaurant ,but I found myself in a long que every night .( so what's the point in booking .) I went to an advertised gettogether in the Commodore club . but was told by the bartender they had not put out the notice or prepared for the event as there was no demand !!!. ( How would he know in advance ???) Despite being a Dimond passenger there was nothing from world club in the state room and for two of us only a half bottle of sparkling wine . None of this was the result of Covid . I think the Covid measure's were well handled The ship was spotlessly clean . the staff friendly and in the most helpful . I was intending to book my next voyage on board but I have decided to give it a rest .
