More than a sanctuary to lay your head, our suites offer experiences to elevate every moment of your time at sea – both behind closed doors and within the spaces we reserve solely for our Grills guests on board.

So, which accommodation type should you choose? To help you decide, we’ve conducted a side-by-side comparison of our Princess and Queens Grill Suites.

Princess Grill: refined, relaxed luxury

From the moment you pop the cork on the chilled prosecco waiting to welcome you to your Princess Grill Suite, you’ll feel yourself succumbing to the holiday spirit.

These roomier suites, with their defined living spaces, offer everything you need to voyage in style. Your stay is further enhanced with a permanently reserved table in the Princess Grill restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. There’s no need to time your arrival in advance. Simply come along at your leisure. The same applies to the Grills Lounge and Grills Terrace, where you’ll be able to relax exclusively with other suite guests.

Queens Grill: the pinnacle of indulgence

As a Queens Grill guest, you’ll benefit from the luxuries enjoyed by our Princess Grill guests and more.

With the exception of Queen Mary 2’s Queen Anne and Queen Victoria Suites, our Queens Grill Suites have a living space that connects seamlessly to the outdoors via an expansive terrace. Each also comes with its own butler, who can tend to any errands you require, even unpacking your cases should you so desire.

When it comes to dining, you’ll have a table reserved in the Queens Grill Restaurant, the finest of our main dining rooms on board. With travelling cheese trolleys and flambé carts, meals here are as much about indulging your eyes as they are your palate.

Which Cunard suite suits your holiday style?

Is food your Achilles’ heel or do you crave space to admire the ocean waves?

To inspire you in your search for the perfect suite, we’ve profiled four kinds of traveller and recommended a suite from our fleet that would best align with their holiday preference…

For the gastronomic explorer…

If culinary experiences are the sun your cruise holidays revolve around, you’ll be in great hands in our Princess or Queens Grill Suites. Both offer you the flexibility to dine at your discretion, new flavours to tempt you, and a healthy dose of theatre to accompany your meal. The Queens Grill Restaurant also gives you the option of ordering ‘off menu’ so, if there’s something you’re particularly craving, our chefs will do their best to make it for you.

For the serious space seeker…

If you’re someone for whom spacious accommodation is of the essence, look no further than our Q1 or Q2 Queens Grill Suites. At between 896-2,249sq ft in size, these suites offer the most space of all our ship’s accommodation. Every suite in this grade comes equipped with two beds, at least one bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, a living room, a dining room, and your own private terrace leading directly off your living space.

For those who value a little extra…

If you’d like more space but are happy to forgo the complimentary bar and butler, our Princess Grill Suites are a perfect choice. Roomier than our Brittania Staterooms, our Princess Grills offer you the additional benefit of being able to dine in the Princess Grill Restaurant for your voyage. You’ll also get access to the Grills Lounge and Grills Terrace, areas shared exclusively with our Queens Grill guests.

For when only the very best will do…

Would you feel at ease with 2,249sq ft of space at your disposal? If the answer is yes, then our Q1 Duplex Suite on Queen Mary 2 may be the one for you. The largest Suite in our fleet, this lavish double-floored residence offers you an escape at sea like no other. Complete with butler and complimentary bar, plus a substantial outdoor terrace, it’s a suite you could well imagine a Royal residing in – perfect if you’re looking to holiday in opulence and grandeur.

Discover your suite

Our suites vary from ship to ship, both in name and style. Queen Mary’s top suites are named after royal residences, knighted Commodores are honoured on Queen Elizabeth, legendary Cunard liners on Queen Victoria, and key locations in our history on Queen Anne.
