Cruise terminals
The first cruise terminal in Hong Kong is Ocean Cruise Terminal (sometimes known as Hong Kong cruise terminal), which has a central location to the city. The terminal itself doesn't have very many facilities, but it is built over a mall, which has ATMs, an information desk, shops, restaurants, and much more. Ferries are also within walking distance.
The second cruise terminal in Hong Kong is Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, located in the world-famous Victoria Harbor. Kai Tak Cruise Terminal includes several useful facilities, including a currency exchange desk, tourism information, lockers for storing luggage, shops and restaurants, and even a rooftop park. Local transport
Hong Kong has a wide range of transport to get you around the city, including taxis, buses, MRT (local underground rail), and trains. Many of these use a contactless system, for which you need to download the "Octopus app for tourist", but most also accept card and mobile payments. Taxis are the exception, which usually require cash in local currency (Hong Kong dollars).
Ocean Terminal is near to several ferries, and also an MTR station, East Tsim Sha Tsui, providing good connections around the city.
Kai Tak terminal is further out from the city center, but sits on several bus routes, from which you can reach railway and MTR stations. Taxis are not very common here, but you can use them to reach the airport if you can get one. There is also a ferry terminal nearby, which you can use to cross the harbor. The terminal often offers a free shuttle service to Diamond Hill/Kwun Tong MTR station too.
Flying / Airports
Hong Kong International Airport is 42 km (25 miles) from Kai Tak cruise terminal, taking around 35 minutes by taxi and around 45 by bus. From Ocean terminal it takes around 30 minutes by taxi or bus, and around an hour by MTR, a distance of just over 33 km (nearly 21 miles).
Hong Kong International Airport offers direct flights to many major cities, including Sydney, Dubai, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Barcelona, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
