Our guide to Future Cruise Credit and using it online.
What is a Future Cruise Credit (FCC)?
A FCC is a credit for fare balances that you have already paid towards a voyage. All guests with voyages cancelled by Cunard will automatically receive a FCC credited to their account.
Using your FCC.
How is my FCC applied to my account?
What can/can't a FCC be used for?
What can a FCC be used for?Booking a voyage: your FCC can be used to book a future voyage (or voyages) with Cunard for you and your guest(s). Upgrading an existing booking: if you have a future voyage booked with us already, you can use your FCC to upgrade your booking. For example, put your FCC towards upgrading your Britannia Balcony Stateroom to one of our Queens Grill Suites, or change from an Early Saver Fare to a Cunard Fare.
What can't a FCC be used for?Shore experiences: FCCs cannot be redeemed against shore experiences, as these are organised in conjunction with third parties.
How do I use my FCC on a new booking online?
If you are logged in to your online account.Your FCC will automatically be applied to your voyage once you reach the Booking Summary stage of the booking process. All fares shown on the website prior to the booking summary page (e.g. find a voyage, accommodation, number of guests and fare type ) will not reflect your available FCC.
If you are not logged in on our website or do not have an online account. As long as you have your Cunard World Club (CWC) membership number to hand, your FCC can be applied to your booking even if you do not have an account or you are not logged in. Simply select "Continue as guest" at the Guest Information stage and enter your CWC membership number when filling in your primary traveller information.
Adding additional guests with FCC to your booking. To add additional guests to your booking, who also wish to redeem a FCC, simply input their CWC membership number(s) on the relevant passenger Guest Details page. All guest FCCs applied to your booking will be deducted from your final total on the Payment page.
Remaining FCC balances.
If the value of your FCC is greater than the cost of your chosen voyage, your remaining FCC balance will be retained for use towards another voyage.
How long do I have to redeem my FCC?
If your booking was cancelled by Cunard and included flights, and these were booked with us, and we issued an ATOL certificate, your FCC is protected by ATOL to the value of 100% of the monies paid on your holiday until 30 September 2022. After this date FCCs can still be redeemed, but they will no longer include ATOL protection. If you have flights booked, but these were not booked with us, or you booked on a cruise only basis, any FCCs issued on or prior to the 30 June 2021 are protected by ABTA to the value of 100% of the monies paid on your booking until 30 September 2022. After this date FCCs can still be redeemed, but they will no longer include ATOL protection.
Any FCC issued as a result of cancellation by Cunard on or after 1 July 2021 can be used at any time.
FCCs previously issued as a result of denied boarding or isolation are valid for two years from the date of issue.
