This guide explains everything you need to know about making a booking on Cunard.com using a Future Cruise Credit (FCC).

<div style="text-align: center;">You may have received a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) for fare balances that you have already paid towards a voyage when your voyage was cancelled as part of our pause in operations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Alternatively, you may have been issued an FCC as a gesture of goodwill.</div>

If the value of your FCC is greater than the cost of your chosen voyage, your remaining FCC balance will be retained for use towards another voyage.

When booking online, your total FCC balance will be applied against the cost of the new voyage you are booking online. If your FCC balance is greater than the cost of your chosen voyage, your remaining FCC balance will be retained for use towards the payment of another voyage.
You can also contact your travel agent or our Customer Contact Centre to use your Future Cruise Credit as payment across multiple Cunard voyages.

Can FCCs be used against multiple bookings?

If your FCC was issued as a result of Cunard cancelling your voyage due to our pause in operations caused by Covid-19 then yes, your FCC can be used to pay for your flights and hotels booked with Cunard.

Can I use my FCC to pay for my flights and hotel bookings?

If your FCC was issued as a result of Cunard cancelling your voyage due to our pause in operations caused by Covid-19 then yes, your FCC can be applied against multiple people on the same booking.
Unfortunately, FCCs issued as a gesture of goodwill cannot be used in this way.

Can I use my FCC to pay for my travelling companion's fare?

You can use your FCC to make a new booking for any voyage on sale at that time. You may also use your FCC to upgrade your Cunard fare type or stateroom on an existing booking.
For new bookings, you can redeem your FCC online. Visit our <a title="Find your perfect Cunard voyage" aria-label="Find your perfect Cunard voyage" href="https://www.cunard.com/en-gb/find-a-cruise">find a voyage page</a> to make a new booking. You can also call our Contact Centre or your travel agent.&nbsp;
To amend an existing booking - for example, to add an additional stateroom or to upgrade - please contact either your travel agent or our Customer Contact Centre, if you booked directly with us.

How can I spend my FCC?

Your available FCC balance is linked to your unique Cunard World Club (CWC) membership number.
When booking online, please either log in to your account or input your CWC number where indicated and the FCC will automatically be applied.
If your FCC is not yet showing online at the time you wish to book your voyage, please contact your travel agent or our Customer Contact Centre and they will be able to make the booking on your behalf using any FCC you are due to receive.

How do I apply an FCC to a new booking?

Your FCC will be applied to your new booking. Please ensure that you quote your Cunard World Club membership number when making your new booking.

What happens if I wish to transfer my booking that I have used my FCC on to a new booking?

Where the cost of the new holiday is more than the FCC value, guests simply pay the difference.

What happens if the voyage I want to use my FCC on is of greater value than the FCC?

Once an FCC has been applied to a new booking, in the event of a cancellation of a voyage by the guest, any refund will be provided in the form of an FCC less any cancellation charges that have been incurred.

What if I decide to cancel a voyage that I've used my FCC to book?

You may have received a FCC credit for fare balances that you have already paid towards a voyage, when your voyage was cancelled by Cunard as part of our pause in operations due to Covid-19.
Alternatively, you may have been issued a FCC as a gesture of goodwill.
Your FCC is held against your guest account using your Cunard World Club (CWC) membership number. Please ensure that you quote your CWC number when making your new booking to ensure the FCC is applied.

What is a Future Cruise Credit (FCC)?

If your booking was cancelled by Cunard due to Covid-19, your FCC has no expiry date and can be used at any time.
FCCs issued as a gesture of goodwill, for example as a result of denied boarding or isolation, are valid for two years from the date of issue.

Frequently asked questions: What is a Future Cruise Credit (FCC)

Your FCC will automatically be applied to your voyage once you reach the Booking Summary stage of the booking process. All fares shown on the website prior to the booking summary page (e.g. find a voyage, accommodation, number of guests and fare type) will not reflect your available FCC.

Unless otherwise stated, your FCC can be redeemed online against any booking, for any voyage on sale at the time of booking.

Because FCC is like store credit, it has cancel fees like any other type of payment. For details see <a href="https://www.cunard.com/en-us/contact-gb/travel-health-advisories/interim-cancellation-policy.html#fcc">Terms &amp; Conditions</a>.

The FCC available to you is linked to your guest account by your unique Cunard World Club (CWC) membership number, which you will find on your booking correspondence from any previous voyage(s). CWC numbers are eight characters long and consist of two letters, five numbers, and a final letter.

To link your available FCC to your account and automatically apply it to your booking; log in to your My Account and enter your CWC number under the 'My details' section. Please note, it may take up to 30 minutes for your My Account to refresh and show your correct FCC balance.

Booking a voyage: your FCC can be used to book a future voyage (or voyages) with Cunard for you and your guest(s).
Upgrading an existing booking: if you have a future voyage booked with us already, you can use your FCC to upgrade your booking. For example, put your FCC towards upgrading your Britannia Balcony Stateroom to one of our Queens Grill Suites, or change from an Early Saver Fare to a Cunard Fare.

Additional flights: your FCC may be redeemed on voyages where you have purchased flights via Cunard.*

What is the currency in the Caribbean?

Caribbean weather is renowned for being warm and inviting, with temperatures averaging between 24–29 degrees Celsius (75–84 degrees Fahrenheit) all year round. The wet season typically occurs between May and October, while other months of the year tend to be dry. Hurricane season is July to October, although storms are not a given even at this time of year. Most Caribbean cruises sail in November and December to take advantage of the lower humidity, pleasant temperatures, and drier days.

Throughout the Caribbean you'll hear a variety of languages spoken, from Dutch and Papiamento in Aruba to French in Martinique and Spanish in Puerto Rico. By far the most widely spoken language in the Caribbean however is English.

Comfortable sandals and flip-flops are essential, as is a shoe you can easily walk in if you wish to explore on foot. As for eveningwear, dresses or one or two smart suits and shirts are perfect for formal evenings on board, while smart casual shorts, shirts, polos and summer dresses will help you to feel comfortable around the ship in the daytime and while ashore.
