Ben Taylor is Deputy Editor of The Sunday Times.

He is a French graduate who has worked in newspapers for 28 years after training at South Glamorgan Institute in Cardiff. 

He started professional life on local newspapers in Birmingham.

After four years, he applied for casual shifts at the Daily Mail in London where he ended up staying for 22 years during which time he worked as Crime Correspondent, News Editor and Executive Editor (News).

He joined The Sunday Times in June 2020.
