We are improving the efficiency of our ships by introducing new technologies and connecting to shore power in ports when operationally feasible. Shore power can reduce emissions and noise while in port, contributing to a quieter, more comfortable experience for guests and local communities. We also produce over 80% of the freshwater used on board from seawater. It's one of the many ways we manage resources carefully, because every drop counts.&nbsp; &nbsp;

We continually review and improve our operations to reduce waste and enhance efficiency on board. This includes initiatives to reduce single-use plastics and minimise food waste, so there is less left over. We also work to refine our sailing routes and operating practices to help minimise disturbance to marine life, such as slowing our ships in recognised whale migration areas. These actions are central to delivering well managed, carefully operated holidays that our guests can choose with confidence.&nbsp; &nbsp;
