Country specific guidance & exemptions

All guests visiting Australia (including those who intend to stay on board the ship while in port) must hold a valid eVisitor or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA).

• Apply via CIBT: Guests under age 75 can secure their visa through our preferred provider at cibtvisas.co.uk/cunard.
• Guests Over 75: Because the Australian Government requires medical clearance for most guests over 75, our partner CIBT cannot assist with these applications. If you are 75 or older, please apply directly through the Australian Embassy and be prepared to provide personal medical reports to support your visa issuance.

British citizen passport holders only require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) if they are arriving in Canada by air.

• If you are flying to Canada to begin your cruise, please apply for your eTA at cibtvisas.ca
• If you are entering Canada by sea (as a port of call during your voyage), an eTA is not required; your valid passport is sufficient for entry.

For all other nationalities, please check the Government of Canada website for specific entry requirements.

All guests arriving by sea as a port of call are classified as "in transit" and do not require a visa. However, if you are embarking or disembarking in Cape Verde (joining or leaving the ship by air), you must pay the Airport Security Tax (TSA) and obtain a visa.

• Apply via CIBT: If you are embarking or disembarking, you can arrange your visa and TSA registration through our preferred provider at cibtvisas.co.uk/cunard.
• Direct Application: Alternatively, you can complete your pre-registration directly via the official Cabo Verde EASE website.

• If entering Amber Cove by sea, there are no visa requirements.
  
• If entering the Dominican Republic via air, a tourist card must be obtained on arrival at the airport 

All guests travelling to Indonesia are required to obtain an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) before entry. This applies to all guests, whether you intend to go ashore or stay on board while the ship is in port.

• Apply via CIBT: You can arrange your e-VOA through our preferred provider at cibtvisas.co.uk/cunard.
• Direct Application: Alternatively, you can apply through the official Indonesian immigration portal at molina.imigrasi.go.id.

Please note that applications for the e-VOA can only be made within 90 days of your scheduled arrival in Indonesia.

Most international travellers (Visa Waiver nationals) must obtain an approved New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before they sail. This is valid for two years and allows for multiple entries.

• Apply via CIBT: For expert assistance with your application, you can contact our preferred provider at cibtvisas.co.uk/cunard or call 0207 620 6998.
• Direct Application: You can apply directly through the official NZeTA website.
• Fees: The NZeTA costs between NZ$17 and NZ$23. Additionally, an International Visitor Levy (IVL) of NZ$100 must be paid at the time of application. The IVL is valid for the same length of time as the NZeTA.

Please note: You must present a printed copy of your successful NZeTA application at check-in to be permitted to board.

Visas are not required for short stays, but South Africa strictly enforces passport and documentation rules, particularly for families.

• Passport Requirements: You must have at least two consecutive blank pages for entry and exit stamps. If your passport is low on space, we strongly recommend renewing it before you sail, as you may be denied boarding without these blank pages.
• Travelling with Children: All guests under 18 must carry a full (unabridged) birth certificate showing the names of both parents.
• Solo Parents: If a child is travelling with only one parent, you must also provide legal consent from the non-travelling parent (such as a Parental Consent Affidavit, court order, or death certificate)

Guests visiting Turkey as a port of call do not require a visa. However, if you are joining or leaving the ship in Turkey (embarking or disembarking), an e-visa is mandatory.

• Apply via CIBT: For assistance with your e-visa, you can use our preferred provider at cibtvisas.co.uk/cunard.
• Direct Application: You can also apply through the official government channel at evisa.gov.tr.

Please note: If you are visiting Turkey as a port of call, guests of all nationalities must have at least 60 days of validity remaining on their passports. If you are embarking or disembarking and require a visa, your passport must have at least 180 days of validity.
