Matt Henry is an award-winning West End actor, singer, songwriter, and the winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Lola in Kinky Boots, as well as receiving a Grammy nomination for his solo performance on the London Kinky Boots cast recording. 

Matt was a finalist on the second series of The Voice, and has also toured the UK promoting his debut album Red Flare supporting pop icon Cyndi Lauper. His recent acting credits include The Two Noble Kinsmen at Shakespeare’s Globe, and his acclaimed leading portrayal of soul star Sam Cooke in the first UK tour of One Night in Miami.

Matt received an MBE in December 2017 for his contribution to theatre.
