How do I link bookings to sail as a group?
If you booked your voyage directly with Cunard, you can link to another booking by logging in to My Cunard. All you’ll need is the booking reference and the surname of the lead guest on that booking. Once linked, we'll aim to seat you together in your allocated main restaurant on board.

Booked your staterooms together? You’re already linked
Our online booking system allows you to book up to three staterooms. Staterooms booked together share the same booking reference, so you do not need to link them.
Top tip: Guests booking the Cunard Fare can select their exact stateroom location, making it easier to choose staterooms close to friends or family, subject to availability. Cunard Fare guests also benefit from first priority for dining requests.
Linking bookings if you booked directly with Cunard
If you booked your voyage directly through our website or with our Customer Contact Centre, and you're the lead guest on the booking, you can link to another booking online in My Cunard.
Please note: Bookings can be linked online until four days before your voyage departs. If you need to link bookings after this point, please speak to our reception team or your restaurant manager on board.
Surprise bookings
If a voyage booking has been noted on our system as a surprise, friends and family should not attempt to link to the booking using our online form. Instead, the lead guest on the surprise booking should use the online form to link their booking to everyone else in the travelling group.
Sailing as a large group?
If you're sailing in a large group, e.g., more than three bookings, we recommend that the lead guest on one booking is responsible for linking to all the other bookings in the group, entering the booking reference and last name of the lead guest for each booking. This will link all the bookings in the group together.
Linking bookings if you booked with a travel agent
If you booked your Cunard voyage with a travel agent, you won’t be able to link your bookings in My Cunard. Instead, your travel agent will need to link your bookings for you.
Please note: Your travel agent can only link bookings until four days before your voyage departs. If you are within four days of sailing, please speak to our reception team on board or your restaurant manager.
Does linking affect dining and stateroom preferences?
Linking your bookings lets our teams on board know that you’re travelling with friends or family who are sailing under a different booking reference and that you wish to be seated together for dinner in your main restaurant.
However, it only allows you to request to dine together in your main restaurant if you all booked staterooms in the same grade, e.g., all bookings are Princess Grill Suites.
Your group should also ensure you all select the same preferences for dining seating time (First Seating or Second Seating) and table size (e.g., a table for 6). You can adjust your seating time and table size preferences in My Cunard before you sail.
While we cannot guarantee that your group will be seated at the same table, linking your bookings increases the likelihood that you’ll be seated together or at tables close by.
Top tip: Guests travelling on the Cunard Fare are given first priority for dining seating requests, so we recommend that everyone in your group selects this fare type where possible and that you all choose the same grade of stateroom, so you are assigned the same main dining room on board.
Does linking bookings impact embarkation times?
No, linking your bookings does not mean your group will be given the same embarkation time. To prevent congestion at the cruise terminal, each guest must board at their designated boarding time, as specified on their boarding pass.
If you would like to board the ship together, you may do so by arriving at the latest of your group’s designated boarding times. For example, if one member of your group is due to embark at 1.00pm and another at 2.00pm, you may board together, provided you all arrive at 2.00pm.
