How do I link bookings to sail as a group?

Spending time with friends or family is one of the pleasures of sailing on our Queens. Linking your bookings lets our teams on board know that you’re travelling together, making it possible for you to do things such as dine as a group. Here’s how it works.

Who do I contact to link a booking?

This depends on how you booked your Cunard voyage.

If you booked with Cunard directly

Sailing in 2026? If you booked directly with us and are sailing this year, please message our Customer Contact Centre using live chat on our website (the easiest option) or telephone us.

Not sailing until 2027? You'll soon be able to link bookings yourself directly online by logging in to My Cunard. Please wait until this new feature is live to link your bookings.

If you booked through a travel agent

Please contact them to request to link your bookings.

What information will I need to link a booking?

To link your booking, you’ll need:

  • Your booking reference
  • Details of your voyage, such as your ship name and sailing date

Please note: Only lead guests can link a booking. If you aren’t the lead guest on your booking, please ask them to get in touch with the above information.

How do I link a booking?

Linking your booking is a three-step process that involves the lead guests from each booking.

1. Obtain your linking code:

Get in touch with our customer contact centre (or your travel agent) using the contact methods we outlined earlier. You’ll be asked a sequence of security questions to confirm your identity. After passing these checks, you’ll be issued a three-character code. This is your linking code.

2. Share your linking code and booking reference:

Share your three-character code and your booking reference with the lead guest on any booking(s) you wish to link to.

3. Finalise the link:

To complete the linking process, the lead guest of the other booking will need to provide your booking reference and linking code to our Customer Contact Centre or your travel agent. If these details match, your bookings will be linked.

Does linking affect dining and stateroom preferences?

Linking your voyage bookings communicates to our teams on board that you’re sailing with friends or family on different bookings. With this knowledge, we’re able to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate your group, such as trying to seat you together in your main restaurant (assuming you booked the same stateroom grade and selected the same dining preference).

As guests who book the Cunard Fare are granted first priority for dining and may also select their exact stateroom location, we highly recommend choosing this fare type for group bookings.

Does linking bookings impact embarkation times?

Linking your bookings does not mean your group will be given the same embarkation time. To prevent congestion at the cruise terminal, each guest must board at their designated boarding time, as specified on their boarding pass.

If you would like to board the ship together, you may do so by arriving at the latest of your group’s designated boarding times. For example, if one member of your group is due to embark at 1.00pm and another at 2.00pm, you may board together, provided you all arrive at 2.00pm.
