In celebration of Queen Mary 2’s 450th Transatlantic Crossing, we welcome on board The 450 Club: Celebrate the Transatlantic, an immersive and theatrical programme that celebrates the legendary history of Cunard’s Transatlantic Crossings. Created by the multi-award-winning theatre company Immersive Octopus, this experience invites you to step into the heart of Cunard’s storied past, where every moment is steeped in elegance, intrigue, and spectacle.
Unfolding through a variety of events across the ship, you are invited to step inside and experience prominent moments from Cunard’s illustrious past. This programme of work allows guests not only to hear celebrated stories but live within them. This is a unique opportunity to witness Cunard’s history told in new and innovative ways, on this 450th Transatlantic Crossing on Queen Mary 2.
In addition, you’ll be joined by a maritime historian to share tales and anecdotes during Cunard Insight talks, and enjoy a special commemorative dinner to mark this milestone crossing.

The Captain’s Account
As the liner passes close to the wreck of the Titanic, those seated in the Illuminations Theatre will hear a real-life account of the infamous disaster - told with striking authenticity. Relive the harrowing moments of that fateful night through Cunard’s very own Sir Arthur Rostron. It is a story of unprecedented loss and one man’s unfaltering bravery when others wouldn’t answer the call.
Ocean Times
Queen Mary 2’s 450th Transatlantic Crossing sees the revival of the Ocean Times newspaper. For one crossing only, a celebratory edition will be printed to take guests back to the golden age of ocean travel, when the world’s most influential figures were chronicled in its pages. Visit the Ocean Times newsroom and you may find your own name memorialised in this historic publication.
Secrets from the Sea
Discover the inside scoop from Cunard’s ‘City under the Sea’ as the infamous Cunard bellhops guide guests to lesser known areas of the liner. Hear stories of previous notable guests in a tour that offers an intimate glimpse behind the scenes of this great ship.
