Qasa Alom presents the Travel Show for the BBC and has made programmes in the Costa Rican rainforests as well as swimming the Ionian Sea between Albania and Corfu. Qasa also made a 2-part travel programme “off-grid” in Alaska - which included ice-fishing and measuring glaciers. Qasa also fronts ‘Today at Wimbledon’ during The Championships fortnight each summer for the BBC working on-screen alongside John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova and Tim Henman.

 

The 2020 Best Radio Presenter of the Year at the Asian Media Awards also hosts a range of programmes on BBC 5 live, and a recent addition to the Amazon Prime Video Sport Premier League team.

 

Qasa has a keen passion for environmental conservation, having made several climate related programmes for the World Service, Radio 4 and has chaired panels for the United Nations at COP 26 & 27.
