The cheapest way to get from Barcelona airport to the cruise terminal is by taking the Renfe train from the airport to the city centre, then taking the metro to Drassanes. From here, it’s about a five-minute walk to the cruise shuttle bus that will take you to the terminal.

What is the cheapest way to get from Barcelona airport to the cruise terminal?

Taxi offers the fastest and most direct way to get from Barcelona El Prat Airport to the cruise terminal. The journey takes around 20-30 minutes (traffic dependent) and is charged at a special flat rate, plus a port exit fee of a few Euros.
You’ll find taxis outside of both terminals, though you may have to wait for one at busier times.
Uber operates a limited service in Barcelona, so it can take a while to be connected to a driver. The most popular rideshare apps in Barcelona are Cabify and Bolt, which (similar to Uber) can be requested via app. Fares for these services vary according to driver availability and demand.
Private or shared shuttles from the airport to the cruise terminal can also be pre-booked in advance via a number of local operators.

Barcelona El Prat Airport has a train station in Terminal 2 (T2) that offers regular services to Barcelona. The station is connected to the terminal via an enclosed bridge and can be reached in just a couple of minutes’ walk once inside the terminal. If you’re arriving at Terminal 1 (T1), you can take the free shuttle bus from outside the terminal to connect to Terminal 2.
Once at the station, take the R2 Nord train (R2N) from the airport towards Sant Celoni and alight at Barcelona-Sants. From here, walk for 5 minutes until you reach Sants Estació metro station. Take the L3 line (the green line) in the direction of Trinitat Nova and alight at Drassanes. Walk for 10 minutes until you arrive at Moll Barcelona bus station. Once here, take the cruise passenger bus service to reach the cruise terminal. Tickets for the cruise bus can be purchased on board from the driver, however, only payment in cash (Euro) is accepted.

Barcelona El Prat Airport in on metro line L9 Sud, and there are stations at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Trains come every seven minutes, and tickets can be purchased directly from the on-site machines.
The closest metro station to the cruise terminal is Drassanes, which is on the L3 line (the green line). To get there, take the metro from the airport to the final stop: Zona Universitària. Once there, take the L3 line towards Trinitat Nova and alight at Drassanes. Walk for 10 minutes until you arrive at Moll Barcelona bus station. Once here, take the cruise passenger bus service to reach the cruise terminal. Tickets for the cruise bus can be purchased on board from the driver, however, only payment in cash (Euro) is accepted.&nbsp;

The most direct bus journey from Barcelona El Prat to the cruise terminal takes around one hour and 15 minutes and requires three changes.
From the airport, board the A1 Aerobús from outside Terminal 1 in the direction of Pl. Catalunya – Andana Central. Alight at Gran Via – Pl Espanya. Walk to the bus stop Pl Espanya - Paral∙lel (two minutes) and take the D20 bus in the direction of Pg. Marítim. Alight at Drassanes and walk to Moll Barcelona (five minutes). From here, you can transfer to the cruise bus that will take you to the terminals. Please note, this isn’t a free service, and you will need to purchase a ticket from the driver on board in cash (Euros).
