Michel Roux returns to Queen Anne with exclusive Le Gavroche at Sea residencies for 2027 and 2028

SOUTHAMPTON [13 October 2026]

With Le Gavroche's doors now closed on land, Cunard’s Queen Anne is the only place in the world where guests can savour the restaurant's renowned cuisine. The residencies combine exceptional dining with Cunard's renowned enrichment programme, offering guests the chance to enjoy dishes inspired by one of the world's most iconic restaurants while spending time with the two-Michelin star chef.

The Michel Roux Culinary Residencies will take place on seven-night Norway and Norwegian Fjords voyages in May, August and September 2027, with further sailings confirmed on a Norway and Denmark voyage in May 2028 and a Norwegian Fjords voyage in June 2028.

An intimate dining experience at sea with Michel Roux

At the heart of each residency is Le Gavroche at Sir Samuels, where guests can savour a specially curated tasting menu inspired by the restaurant's rich heritage and celebrated dishes. Limited to just 50 guests each evening, the intimate dinners offer a rare opportunity to dine with one of the world's most renowned chefs while sailing through some of Northern Europe's most spectacular scenery.

Guests will also have the chance to meet twins Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, affectionately known as 'The Sisters', whose warmth and hospitality made them much-loved figures at Le Gavroche for more than 20 years.

Exclusive culinary events and enrichment at sea

Beyond the dining experience, guests can enjoy a programme of exclusive events hosted by Michel Roux, including live cooking demonstrations, Cunard Insights talks, Q&A sessions and book signings, offering a fascinating insight into his life, career and culinary philosophy.

Guests sailing on residency voyages can also enjoy an exclusive three-course Gala menu in all main dining rooms and Oysters at Carinthia, an enhanced seafood offering available each evening in the elegant surroundings of the Carinthia Lounge.

Continuing Cunard's commitment to exceptional dining
