What to expect?

Wine tasting classes are a laidback experience. They are an opportunity to meet new people on board, share stories (of wine, and beyond), and relax as your sommelier walks you through a curated selection of wines especially selected for your voyage.


Are classes included?

Typically, classes will feature a blend of white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines. Got a preference? Our sommelier will make sure you try varieties that appeal to your tastes, while still enjoying the chance to try something new.

Wine tasting classes are not included in your fare and require an additional charge. To avoid disappointment, pre-book your classes through My Cunard prior to sailing.

We cater for all palates, and guests will be invited to try a selection of wines from the best wine making countries across the globe – as well as a few hidden gems you may try for the first time.

Wines used in our tastings vary per ship, and per season.

Lunch and Learn

Explore the fascinating affinity between wine and food to learn, first-hand, how what you eat with your wine can influence its flavour.

In the elegant surroundings of our speciality steak and seafood restaurant, enjoy a tasting menu, created by our Executive Chef, served with perfectly paired wines, wherever possible. Our Chief Sommelier will guide you on your tasting journey and happily answer any questions you may have.
