Meteora, Greece (from Volos)

'How were the rocky pinnacles of Meteora created? Geologists disagree even today. Whether the results of wind erosion or aeons worth of gravel deposits, these mysterious formations are truly a wonder to behold. The name of Meteora is translated to mean 'mid-air.'
