WHALEWATCHING
Every autumn, thousands of Grey whales make their annual 6,000 mile migration from the summer feeding grounds of Alaska to the calving grounds of Cabo San Lucas, the Baja and the Sea of Cortez.

SHOPPING
Specialities include silver, blown glass, pottery, traditional Mexican blankets (sarapes), clothing, sandals, masks and other arts and crafts. The city has also earned a reputation as an art centre.

TODOS LOS SANTOS
Founded in 1724 as a Jesuit mission, this small oasis village lies just south of the Tropic of Cancer and is often referred to as the jewel of Baja.
