Flexible transfer policy.

For added peace of mind, with our Flexible Transfer Policy you can transfer your booking, free of charge and as many times as you like.

In order to provide booked guests with as much flexibility as possible we have taken the decision to relax our balance due payments terms on all vacations departing up to and including March 31, 2022, to 30 days prior to departure .

For voyages sailing on or after April 1, 2022, standard payment terms apply. See our policy page for full details.

We strongly recommend that you secure comprehensive vacation insurance when you sail with us. While we hope you never have to use it, the policy will ensure you’re able to relax and enjoy your vacation with the peace of mind that you’re protected should you need it.

When traveling with us, your insurance should include medical cover and cover for emergency evacuations and medical expenses related to Covid-19. You should also ensure your policy includes cover for repatriation, cancelation and curtailment and full cover for any and all pre-existing medical conditions worldwide, or as a minimum, in the countries you are due to visit. 

We continue to operate medical centers on board each Cunard Queen, staffed around the clock by fully accredited doctors and nurses to help support your health needs.

Our promise.

If you or a member of your household test positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of sailing, or if you are not permitted to travel following completion of the Health Declaration (which will be in line with the latest government and industry guidelines) you will be denied boarding and will receive a non-refundable Future Cruise Credit (FCC) to the value of the voyage. We will also automatically refund any pre-voyage purchases made through My Cunard*.

If you were part of a linked booking, your friends or family will also be able to opt for the FCC and refund for purchases made. Just ask us to make sure all members of your traveling group are linked when you make your booking.

Our guarantee.

In the unlikely event we need to cancel your voyage, we guarantee you an enhanced Future Cruise Credit (FCC) to redeem against any new booking made with Cunard. If the enhanced Future Cruise Credit offer does not meet your needs, you can request a 100% cash refund on the monies you have paid instead.

FCCs can be used on any Cunard voyage on sale, subject to availability at the time of booking. If the cost of the new voyage is more than the FCC, you can simply pay the difference between the value of the FCC and the deposit or balance payment (if after the date the balance for your cruise is due). You may also use this FCC to upgrade an existing booking. Should you wish to do this, you should contact your travel advisor or our Customer Service Department, if you have booked direct.

All new bookings using FCCs will be subject to Cunard booking conditions, including our standard cancelation terms. Once an FCC has been applied to a new booking, in the event of a cancelation of a cruise by the guest, any refund will be given in FCC. If a cancelation of the whole voyage is necessary due to Covid-19, you will be given a refund of your FCC.

*If your cruise is part of a wider cruise vacation package booked through a tour operator please contact your tour operator for information relating to their policies in place, should you be denied boarding.

While we want to ensure you have the Cunard vacation you've dreamed of, please be aware that we will be significantly reducing the number of guests on our first voyages following the pause in operations to better enable a smooth return to sailing. We have reduced the number of available staterooms and suites on these voyages accordingly.
