As you stroll up Toompea Hill to Upper Town, you’ll be entering the traditional home of Estonia's Baltic-German nobility, and the site of some of Tallinn’s oldest architectural wonders.
In Palace Square you’ll see Toompea Castle, home of Estonia’s Parliament, and visit Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, a living relic of the Russian Empire. The Gothic ‘Dome Church’ is the city's oldest church and burial site for the nobility since the 15th century. Directly adjacent lies the Renaissance Revival House of the Knighthood.
Then soak up panoramic views of Lower Old Town, before browsing for souvenirs.
Back on the coach, you’ll head to Peter the Great’s Kadriorg Palace. The ornate rooms are spectacular examples of Baroque interior architecture, and part of the Art Museum of Estonia. After strolling through the captivating collections, you can meander the colourful gardens.
