Relax as your coach transfer whisk’s you into the heart of the city of Split.
At the core of this sprawling cityscape, is the Old Town of Split, set on the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Palace of Diocletian. Built at the turn of the 4th century for the Roman Emperor Diocletian, what began as an imperial residence and fortified camp is today an intriguing warren of narrow cobblestone streets. You’ll find pre-Romanesque churches standing alongside Gothic chapels, museums and a number of bustling cafés and restaurants.
Upon arrival, you’ll have approximately four hours to explore at your own pace. Perhaps visit the Cellars of the Palace and the Temple of Jupiter, or indulge in a spot of luncheon at one of the local restaurants.
At the time specified by your escort, you’ll re-join your coach for the return journey to Sibenik.
