A thought-provoking tour that provides a valuable insight into the impact of World War II on Rabaul, captured by the Japanese in 1942. Visit a Japanese tunnel system, used to shelter from the Allied air forces, and learn how they turned Rabaul into a powerful military base. Travel to a local village and experience a traditional Tolai dance, before visiting the Kokopo War Museum with its vast collection of WWII artifacts.
