Set a course through the Strait of Magellan to Isla Magdalena and Isla Marta. Together they comprise the Los Pinguinos Natural Monument, which shelters and protects an array of marine wildlife. Marta Island is home to over 1,000 sea lions, along with sea elephants, cormorants, skuas, Austral seagulls and Antarctic pigeons, which you may spot during a circumnavigation. You’ll actually be able to step ashore on Magdalena Island and spend an hour walk through the penguin colony, and even interacting with some of the 150,000 or so of the adorable birds that live here.
