Embark on short drive to the centre of Oporto where you’ll board one of the early 20th century trams. The trams are a regular sight and pass along the front, adjacent to the Douro River. During your journey you’ll have the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the surrounding views of Oporto. A sample of Portuguese delicacies and a glass of port wine will also be on offer.

The Ribeira Quarter is often referred to as the ‘Medieval Quarter’ with its charming narrow streets and historical background. A guided walk will take you through Ribeira where you can enjoy the views across the river to Gaia, home of the famous port wine cellars. You can also see the 19th century iron bridges and traditional Rabelo boats docked at the old pier. During your walk, and if time permits some free time will be offered.

To round off your tour you’ll rejoin your coach for a panoramic drive though the heart of the city, before returning to the ship.
