A true gem of Scotland’s east coast, steeped in history and folklore. Enjoy a guided tour of the 18th-century town of Cromarty, noting the 17th-century East Church, the old Courthouse and Hugh Miller’s thatched cottage. Continue on above the fabled Fairy Glen, stopping at Fortrose to photograph the beautiful ruins of its 13th-century cathedral. Further on, you’ll catch a glimpse of the colorful hanging rags at Clootie Well, whose waters are said to bring good luck and health. A final stop will be made at North Kessock, to try and spot Moray Firth dolphins and take in the views.
