Your scenic drive begins with a stop at the Hellesylt Waterfall, a short distance from the pier. Pause to capture photos of this impressive waterfall, before continuing through the wild and rugged Nordang Valley. As your guide enlightens you with information on the area, soak up the stunning landscape, complete with steep, imposing mountains, small lakes, and picturesque summer farms.Enjoy a brief stop at �ye, a small village at the head of Hj�rundfjord, amongst the Sunnm�re Alps, and home to the Union �ye Hotel, which was established back in 1891.During the journey back towards the Norang Valley, a photo stop will be made at Lake Lyngst�ylvatnet, the result of a rockslide in 1908. The rockslide caused the river to take a new course, hence the creation of the lake. Beneath the waters of the lake it is possible to see vegetation and remains of the old road, the gateway and the farmhouses.As you continue through the valley, enjoy a photo stop at Ura Summer Farm, before passing through Hellesylt and making a final stop at Lj�en, a viewpoint offering a wonderful panoramic view of the UNESCO World Heritage Natural Site; Geirangerfjord.
