Setting off from the port, enjoy a drive to Parc Des Mamelles, located in the rainforest of Guadeloupe National Park. It was originally a natural reserve for raccoons and today it is home to a selection of species of animal that inhabit the Caribbean and Latin America.On your path through the forest, you�ll see a variety of plants, trees and flowers before experiencing a breathtaking view of the Cousteau Marine Reserve and Pigeon Island. Enjoy the sights from a marked walkway passing by the fascinating Insectarium. If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, you can visit the Park from above, on a suspended walkway 50 feet above the forest floor. Afterwards, a refreshing fruit punch will be served while you have an opportunity to browse the Parks� gift shop.Finish off your tour with a visit to the nearby Cacsade aux Ecrevisses, a lovely location where a small cascade of water falls into a tropical pond in the heart of the rainforest.
