Nordland County can boast of 35% of all the White-tailed Sea-eagles in Norway and 20% of the world�s population. The White-tailed Sea-eagle is closely related to the American Bald Eagle and hundreds of these majestic birds can be seen around Bod�. It is a magnificent and powerful bird with a wing span of about 8 foot and has been a protected species in Norway since 1968.A short stroll will take you to the boat pier, where you�ll be greeted by your friendly captain. After an orientation and safety briefing, you�ll be kitted out in a floatation suit, gloves and glasses.On boarding your RIB, your captain will take you on an exhilarating ride along the dazzling fjord. Enjoy the surrounding landscape of steep cliffs, snow-capped peaks and cascading waterfalls as you whizz across the water to discover the natural environment of the eagle. Your knowledgeable captain will slow down at the best places to spot the eagles and you may also be able to see an array of other wildlife including otters, moose or orca.
