Big Band Ball.

Queen Elizabeth hosts a magnificent 17-piece Big Band, her biggest of the year and one of the highlights of the calendar.

May 18–25, 2021, Queen Elizabeth.

This spectacular event, for dance and music lovers everywhere, will take place on a seven-night sailing from Tokyo around the shores of Japan and South Korea.

Inspired by the iconic big bands of the 1930s and 1940s, Cunard’s Big Band Ball combines hugely talented musicians from venues across the ship, with some special guest musicians from the UK Big Band scene, to create a swinging 17-piece orchestra that will perform a variety of Big Band classics in the Queens Room for one very special evening.

The orchestra’s vocalist will add material drawn from the catalogs of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan and The Rat Pack, and modern performers such as Michael Bublé, Jamie Cullum and Harry Connick Jr.
