In a prime downtown location close to shopping and the city’s main attractions, the hotel offers an ideal base from which to explore the city nestled on the water and surrounded by mountain vistas. Your package includes a city sightseeing tour passing the spectacular North Shore with breathtaking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. You will also visit the 450‐foot Capilano Suspension Bridge and the Skyride gondola at Grouse Mountain. The highlight of your land extension will be 2 days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer Railroad. Over the 2 days, your journey will take you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow‐capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.

Between Banff and Kamloops, highlights will include the Continental Divide, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Highlights of the journey between Kamloops and Vancouver include winding river canyons, pristine forests, steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your trip includes one night at a hotel in Kamloops. This tour is the perfect way to begin or end your Alaskan adventure.

NOTES: For all Rocky Mountaineer packages, accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. Lunch only is included on both days aboard the Rocky Mountaineer Railroad.
