Your drive will explore some of the foothills along the famous Cabot Trail, through verdant valleys which offer breathtaking scenery. Along the way, two short stops will afford lovely views of the Gulf of St Lawrence and St Ann’s Bay. You’ll arrive in Baddeck, a charming tourist town that was once the summer residence of Alexander Graham Bell, for a guided stroll along the town’s waterfront boardwalk, where the Bras d’Or Lakes gently lap the shoreline. See the Bell mansion, and keep an eye out for bald eagles overhead before some free time to explore as you choose.
