Soak up the natural beauty of Croatia’s Krka National Park and enjoy a leisurely boat ride.
Prepare to be impressed by the sheer beauty of Krka National Park, a 142-square-mile area that surrounds the River Krka. As the river flows through the canyons, it spills over into spectacular waterfalls, forming a series of lakes and rapids.
Skradinski Buk is the Park’s most impressive feature and largest waterfall. From its great, natural pool the water cascades down 17 steps, over a height of 147 feet.
Above the falls, you’ll find a large plateau with spectacular panoramic views. Here you’ll see a small ethnological exhibition, as well as an old grinding mill that is still in use today. You’ll also have some free time to explore the network of picturesque walking trails.
Then embark on a pleasant 20-minute scenic boat ride on the Krka River, from Skardinski Buk to the small town of Skradin.
