The Heart of La Palma
USD65 per person
Soak up the spectacular vistas in the La Caldera de Taburiente National Park, in the heart of La Palma.
Sit back and enjoy your scenic drive to a little whitewashed church in Santuario – Virgen de Las Nieves, home of the island's most sacred icon, the Virgin Mary of the Snows.
Travelling through mountain roads surrounded by spectacular views, you’ll arrive at La Caldera de Taburiente – the largest erosion crater in the world. Five miles across and over a mile deep, it’s filled with deep ravines and waterfalls, and covered in pine forests – and the views are awe inspiring.
After some local refreshments at Finca La Principal, a traditional 17th century farm set in beautiful gardens, you’ll stop at the viewpoint Mirador de la Concepcion for stunning coastal views.
