Soak up the stunning scenery and bathe in the geothermal waters of the Myvatn Nature Baths.
Riding along the scenic coast of Iceland’s longest fjord, Eyjafjordur, you’ll be treated to wonderful views of Akureyri and the surrounding mountains, before arriving at Godafoss, the ‘Falls of the Gods’. Watching the thundering water cascade over the nearly 40-foot-high wall is simply awe-inspiring.
You’ll stop to view the unique pseudo-craters at Skutustadir at the Lake Myvatn area, before heading to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterwards, you’ll visit mystical Dimmuborgir, a series of unique lava-pillars, natural arches, and unexplored grottos that formed only 2,300 years ago.
Then luxuriate for an hour and a half in the natural, geothermal waters of Myvatn Nature Baths, which are filled with unique blend of beneficial minerals, silicates, and geothermal microorganisms.
Finally, stop at Námaskarð Pass to view the boiling mud pools and colourful sulphur cauldrons.
