Booking with confidence.

A few mindful changes; still your Cunard voyage.

Flexible transfer policy.

In this uncertain environment, we understand that you may appreciate some added flexibility. To that end, we’ve updated our transfer policy.

For voyages sailing on or before 1 October 2021, you can transfer your booking to another holiday, free of charge, up to 30 days before your holiday departs, as many times as you like. See our policy page for full details.

ATOL and ABTA protected.

When you book with Cunard your money and holiday are in safe hands, with the added confidence of ABTA and ATOL protection.

Future Cruise Credit.

If you are unable to cruise due to a positive Covid-19 test within 14 days of sailing, you’ll receive a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) to the value of the cruise and we will automatically refund any pre-cruise purchases made through My Cunard*.

If you were part of a linked booking, your friends or family will also be able to opt for the FCC and refund for purchases made. Just ask us to make sure all members of your travelling group are linked when you make your booking.

Travel insurance.

It’s mandatory for all UK guests to have comprehensive cruise-specific travel insurance when they sail with us. Whilst we hope you never have to claim, the policy will ensure you’re able to relax and enjoy your voyage knowing you’re protected should you need it.

When travelling with us, your insurance must include medical cover of £2 million minimum and cover for emergency evacuations and medical expenses related to Covid-19.

You must also ensure your policy includes cover for repatriation, cancellation and curtailment and full cover for any and all pre-existing medical conditions worldwide, or as a minimum, in the countries you are due to visit. You will be asked to confirm you have travel insurance at the terminal and you may need to provide proof of your policy. It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate cover in place. Unfortunately you will be denied boarding, at your own expense, if you do not arrange insurance.

Cunard has partnered with Holiday Extras to offer appropriate travel insurance for our holidays.

Find out more about the level of cover you will need below.

*If you booked your cruise as part of a wider holiday package, please contact your travel provider for more information relating to their policy in place should you be denied boarding.

Please note:

While we want to ensure you have the Cunard holiday you've dreamed of, please be aware that we will be significantly reducing the number of guests on our first voyages following the pause in operations to better enable a smooth return to sailing. We have reduced the number of available staterooms and suites on these voyages accordingly.
