Discover the charm of this wonderful city as you pass by sites such as Dufferin Terrace, the National Battlefields Park, a beautiful 250 acre park located on the cliffs overlooking the St Lawrence River, the Laval University Campus, and Place Royale, a beautifully restored market square of typical 17th and 18th century stone architecture in the heart of the lower town. Your route will also take you along the Grande-Allée, the ‘Champs-Élysées’ of Québec.
Enjoy spectacular views at Cap Diamant overlooking the St Lawrence River, and visit the ‘Observatoire de la Capitale’ that offers a breathtaking 360° view of Quebec City from a height of around 725 feet. You’ll take the lift up to the 31st floor, where the city views will stretch way out in front of you.
Take a walk through the old Citadel that constitutes part of the fortifications surrounding Quebec’s old city, a UNESCO world heritage site. You’ll also have the opportunity to view Quebec’s most celebrated landmark, the Chateau Frontenac.
At the end of your tour and time permitting, you may choose to explore the town independently and make your own way back to the ship.
