Anthony Inglis and the National Symphony Orchestra.

A regular favourite in the Cunard calendar, the UK’s National Symphony Orchestra joins Queen Mary 2 once again for a celebration of classical music.

12 - 19 September 2021, Queen Mary 2.

During this very special Transatlantic Crossing, guests will be treated to two spectacular performances in the Royal Court Theatre - an evening of American themed numbers and one showcasing the Best of British.

Anthony Inglis is one of our longest serving guest performers, and we look forward to welcoming him to the conductor's rostrum once again.

Alongside a Q&A with Anthony, guests will have the opportunity to audition for the choir and practice under the guidance of the NSO, ready for a group performance during the evening’s show.

Special guest on board.

Anthony Inglis.

Anthony Inglis has been described in the UK press as “one of Britain’s most popular conductors” (Manchester Evening news) and is believed to have appeared more often at the Royal Albert Hall than anyone else. He leads a busy international conducting career, appearing with some of the greatest orchestras in concert halls and recording studios around the world from New Zealand to Scandinavia via Japan and the USA. Among them are the four main London independent orchestras (LSO, RPO, LPO and Philharmonia), all the British independent and most BBC orchestras, the Melbourne, Sydney, Gothenburg and Singapore Symphony Orchestras, and the Warsaw and Israel Philharmonic Orchestras.
