Experience the mysteries of Morocco and learn about the history and culture of this colourful country.

Depart the pier to the Old Kasbah where you can take in the panoramic views across the bay.

After a short drive, you’ll arrive at ‘Agadir Fantasia’, where you will discover the charms of true Moroccan hospitality with a spectacular ‘Fantasia Show’.

The acrobats and folklore troop begin the show along with regional live music. Outside the tent, the horses will take centre stage and delight you with their formations and trickery. During the show you’ll be served Moroccan mint tea and cookies.

Afterwards, you’ll visit the Souk El Had, a 'kaleidoscope' of vibrant colours with aromas of herbs and spices. Enjoy some free time to browse the stalls where you can purchase anything from assorted spices to handmade leather slippers.

This excursion operates by coach and on foot. The venue for the Fantasia Show is not air conditioned. There is approximately 1¼ hours ‘of walking on this tour.

Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city to an ‘oasis in the hills of Malaga’ - La Concepcion, Embrace the tranquillity and take a stroll with your guide through the Botanical Garden, discover one of Europe’s most beautiful collections of fruit trees, bamboos, palms, vines, Mediterranean and aquatic plants.

Once you’re back in the city follow in the footsteps of some of Malaga’s most famous residents with a visit to El Pimpi Bodega for a taste of local life and the local tipple, sweet wine. Meander through the city’s old quarter to the Picasso Museum and then enjoy a fascinating insight into the artist’s work. Where better to see some of the 200 paintings, drawings, sculptures and etchings than in the artists birthplace?

An additional treat is waiting for you as you as you descend to the level beneath the ground floor where you can see the beautifully preserved and sensitively displayed Roman and Phoenician ruins, which were discovered during the restoration of the building.

Located on a wide bay beneath the shadow of Mount Pellegrino, Palermo is the jewel in the crown of Sicily. In the 9th century, Palermo was famed for its wealthy courts and universities, and today boasts national treasures, historic monuments and impressive architecture.

Your panoramic drive delivers the sights of the city to you from the comfort of your coach. Travel the main streets of the charming and beautiful old city of Palermo and pass by sights such as Politeama Square; Via Ruggero Settimo; Massimo Opera House, one of the largest opera houses in Europe; Quattro Canti, a fashionable square dating back to the 16th century which divides the city into four; Via Roma, Marina Square, Foro Italico, Palermo Cathedral; Royal Palace; City Hall and much more.

After your city drive, you will head towards Monte Pellegrino, 1,900 feet above sea level, and capture wonderful views over the city and surrounding areas.

Your tour will continue to Mondello, a former fishing village, now an elegant summer resort. Here, you will stop for welcome refreshments at a local hotel.

This excursion will operate by coach. There is a limited amount of walking is on this tour, however guests must be able to negotiate the steps onto and off the coach. The tour involves some winding roads and is therefore unsuitable for guests with vertigo. This tour may operate in reverse order.

Imagine the glory of ancient Rome as you see the colossal Colosseum. (Exterior visit only). Pass by the Roman Forum, a once chaotic place with markets, temples and the Senate House. See the beautiful Trevi Fountain, Rome's largest and most famous fountain.

The Vatican Museum houses one of the most impressive collections in the world. Admire the many works of art and visit the Sistine Chapel, dominated by the efforts of Michelangelo. The conception and execution of 'Creation of the World' and 'Last Judgment' are positively titanic.

Magnificent St Peter's Basilica took over 100 years to build and features Renaissance and Baroque stylings. Resting on over 800 pillars and adorned with 44 altars, St Peter's is by far the largest church in the world.

There will be an opportunity to 'refuel' during your tour, with an Italian-style luncheon.

This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. Guests booking this tour will have privileged access to the Vatican Museum, avoiding the main bulk of the crowds and queues for entrance. This is a fast paced comprehensive tour with substantial walking and lots of steps. Please dress appropriately for entering churches. For security reasons, St Peter's may close entrance altogether. In the event of excessive queues, free time will be given in St Peter's Square. This tour is not operable on Sundays or on religious holidays. Access may be restricted during mass. No video or photography in the Sistine Chapel. No flash photography in the Vatican Museums. Guests may be required to check large bags, backpacks, video cameras, and/or personal water bottles at designated checkpoints.
