    Sit back, relax and soak up the scenery as a leisurely cruise takes you along Dubrovnik’s coastline, passing in between the Lapad Peninsula and the lush green islet of Daksa.

    As you continue towards the Old Town, the magnificent city ramparts will soon come into view. Disembark your boat, and join your knowledgeable guide on a stroll along the charming streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the years that followed the civil war in the 1990s, the city’s former splendour was lovingly restored making it today, one of the world’s finest and most well-preserved medieval cities.

    After your guided tour of the Old Town, enjoy some free time to explore further, before your return cruise back to the port.


    This excursion will operate by boat and on foot. There is approximately 1 hour of walking on this tour over cobbled streets, as well as a few steps to negotiate. Depending on where the tour boat is berthed on the day, there may be a short walk between the ship's berth and the tour boat. There are several steps to negotiate onto the boat. In the event of inclement weather the sea portions of the tour will be replaced by a coastal drive by coach and a refund of 20% will be applied to your onboard account.

  • Kayak around the City Walls

    Paddle the crystal waters of the Adriatic, beneath the imposing city walls of Dubrovnik.

    Kayak around the City Walls

    Your kayaking adventure begins with a short coach transfer to Pile Square in the Old City. Here you will be met by your guide, and a safety briefing on the basics of kayaking will be given.

    Once afloat, follow your guide as you paddle your way along the crystal clear Adriatic water. Admire the magnificent city walls as you head to Lokrum Island for a leisurely kayak around the island. A visit will be made to the hidden cave beach of Betina, where you will have the opportunity to take a well earned break or enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea.

    During your free time at the beach, you’ll be provided with a light sandwich and a bottle of water. Afterwards, it’s time to kayak back to Dubrovnik where you’ll board your coach for the journey back to the ship.

    This excursion will operate by coach and kayak.There is approximately two hours of kayaking on this tour. Sea kayaks are stable and sit-on-top kayaks with two seats. Children under the age of eight and pregnant women may not participate. Participants should be competent swimmers and physically fit. Please take a hat, sunglasses, shoes that can get wet, a towel and oil-free sunscreen. Please wear your swimwear as there are no changing facilities or toilets available. You’ll be required to wear a life jacket. Waterproof barrels are provided to store your belongings in, however please keep personal belongings to a minimum. Guests wishing to remain in the old town after the tour are responsible for making their own way back to the ship.

    Your tour starts in the comfort of the coach as you head for Brajkovici village. Along the way, you’ll pass several picturesque villages dotted along the Konavle Valley, unspoilt by the passage of time.

    Once you reach Brajkovici, you’ll learn about the area’s rich 2,000 year history and stop at your first wine cellar of the day. Here, you’re in for a real treat – a chance to sample some of the locally produced varieties. After savouring each of the vintages presented to you, it’s time to board a trolley train, bound for the historical vineyards of Konavle valley.

    A scenic descent to the heart of the Valley takes you to 3 wine cellars. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to try some of the best wines of the region. A typical ‘peasant’s brunch’ will be served during the tour - homemade smoked bacon with onions.

    Complete your tour at the village of Ljuta where you’ll visit an old mill and discover how flour was made in times gone by. Just a few metres away you’ll be shown another typical craft of the past – wool preparation. Here your host, dressed in a national costume, will explain the craft.

    Adapted from George Martin’s novels ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’, the US hit series ‘Game of Thrones’ has captivated audiences with its tales of love, religion, murder and myths. The medieval walled city of Dubrovnik provides the official setting for the fictional city of King’s Landing, capital of the Seven Kingdoms.

    A brief transfer takes you into the Old Town where you’ll begin your walking tour. Follow in the footsteps of your favourite characters as your knowledgeable guide leads you on a leisurely walk to Lovrijenac Fortress, the site of ‘Red Keep’, and the scene of many bloody battles. During a tour of this 11th century castle, you’ll have a wonderful view of ‘Blackwater Bay’.

    Afterwards, you’ll climb the city walls that were attacked by the Baratheons in the first series. Let your imagination run free, as you envision some of the scenes that were filmed here.

    Round off your tour with a scenic drive to Trsteno Botanical gardens, a key filming site for the magnificent King’s Landing Palace scenes in the third series, and home to a number of exotic plants, trees and shrubs.

  • Cable Car & Cavtat

    Take a cable car to the top of Srdj Hill for a majestic view of Dubrovnik Old City, before visiting the charming town of Cavtat.

    Cable Car & Cavtat

    The original Dubrovnik cable car was built back in 1969 and was used by visitors and the locals who wanted to enjoy a magnificent view of Dubrovnik Old City and the surrounding area. Until the war in 1991, more than 2½ million people were transferred to the top of Srdj Hill. After its destruction in the war, it remained in disrepair until it was restored and reopened in 2010.

    A brief transfer by coach will take you to the lower station to board the cable car. As you glide upwards, enjoy the surrounding views of the Croatian countryside before reaching the top. Take time to see the spectacular view of Dubrovnik City unfold before you.

    After your cable car ride, continue eastwards by coach through the lovely countryside and onto Cavtat, the southernmost town in Croatia. Situated in a bay, encircled by two peninsulas, few places offer such harmony of Mediterranean flora, emerald sea and architecture, whilst cherishing a rich cultural and historical tradition.

    Enjoy free time to explore Cavtat independently before the return drive to the port.


    This excursion will operate by coach, cable car and on foot. Walking is at your own discretion during the free time at the top of Srdj Hill and in Cavtat. Long queues may be experienced at the cable car station, due to the popularity of this attraction. Due to local parking regulations, guests may be required to walk approximately 200 metres from the bus parking area to the cable car station; this would also involve negotiating around 30 steps.

  • Beach Break and Old Town

    An opportunity to relax and soak up the sun at Sveti Jakov Beach, followed by some free time to explore the Old City.

    A scenic boat ride takes you past the island of Lokrum, towards Sveti Jakov Beach. During the journey you’ll pass by the Fort of St Lawrence, before sailing along Dubrovnik’s old city walls.

    Sveti Jakov Beach is a pebbly beach, and one of the most attractive beaches in Dubrovnik, due to its wonderful view of the Old City of Dubrovnik, as well as Lokrum Island.

    Upon arrival you’ll be offered a welcome drink, before being shown to you complimentary beach chair. Enjoy approximately three hours at your leisure, to relax in the sun and cool off in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

    Afterwards, your boat will transfer you to the Old City, where you’ll have around one hour of free time to explore the medieval walled city, before returning to the pier by coach.

    Step aboard a high speed RIB, and embark on a thrilling adventure around Dubrovnik’s imposing city walls, before continuing along the spectacular coastline towards the Island of Kolocep.

    A stop will be made at the Blue Caves, illuminated with an eerie aqua light. Here you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the refreshing waters or try your hand at a spot of snorkelling to discover the underwater marine life.

    Afterwards, hop back on board your RIB and whizz across to Kolocep’s largest settlement, Donje Celo, where you’ll spend time on the beach. Relax on the warm sand, or take a dip in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic.

    Sit back, relax and let the scenery move around you on this panoramic boat trip to the old city. Refreshments will be served as you relax on your vessel, admiring the Fort of St Lawrence, before docking in the old port, just as mariners have been doing for centuries.

    In the heart of the old city, stretch your legs and your imagination, as your guide takes you on a walking tour encompassing the best of Dubrovnik. A variety of highlights will be visited including the Dominican Monastery and the Cathedral. Other fine buildings will be viewed from the outside, including the Church of Saint Blaise, Onofriou’s Fountain and St Saviour Church.

    Enjoy some free time to explore the old city independently, or to relax over a drink in one of the local cafés.

    Complete your tour with a drive along the coastal highway for a panoramic view of the city walls, and picturesque surroundings.


    This excursion will operate by coach and boat. There is approximately one hour of walking over cobbled streets with some inclines, plus optional walking during free time. There are several steps to negotiate onto the boat. Depending on where the tour boat is berthed, there may be a short walk between the ship's berth and the tour boat. If it is docked further away, you will be transferred by coach. In the event of inclement weather the sea portion of the tour will be replaced by a coastal drive by coach and a refund of 30% will be applied to your onboard account.

    Your tour begins with a scenic drive along the coastal highway to a panoramic viewpoint, offering a wonderful view of the sparkling waters of the Adriatic and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old city of Dubrovnik.

    Once inside the city, it’s time to put your best foot forward and discover the scale of the city from above and learn of its 900 year old history. Heading up high you’ll cover a distance of over 1½ miles as you circumnavigate the walls that completely encircle the old town. Along the way your guide will enlighten you with the interesting history of the city and provide plenty of facts and figures about the construction of the walls. Discover the true beauty of old Dubrovnik as you see towers, forts and bastions, along with far reaching views of the countryside, the coast and the charming red terracotta rooftops below.

    A scenic drive takes you to the small town of Cavtat, where you’ll be greeted by your Captain and crew before boarding your boat for your snorkel adventure.

    As you set sail along the beautiful coastline, sit back, take in the views and relax in the warm Adriatic sunshine.

    Just off the coast of the picturesque town of Cavtat, lie two small islands in the Adriatic Sea; Mrkan and Bobara. Here your Captain will drop anchor, allowing you to take to the inviting waters with your snorkel gear for a closer look at the marine life.

    The crystal clear waters provide perfect visibility and it is not uncommon to come across sea scorpions, parrot fish, sea bream, octopus, sea perches, moray eels and an abundance of marine fauna.


    ACTIVITY EXCURSIONS
