British broadcaster and writer Fiona Armstrong
Fiona Armstrong

Fiona Armstrong is a British broadcaster and writer. A former ITN and BBC news presenter and reporter, her work has taken her to Africa, Cambodia, America and across Europe.

Fiona has made films on subjects ranging from clan history to politics and has presented antiques and cooking programmes and the NBC business show, Executive Lifestyles. Fiona is a well-known angler and fronted a TV series, Fiona on Fishing, as well as Sky TV’s Tight Lines programme.

Celtic history is another of her interests and she has made films on Scottish clans. She has written fishing books and cook books and and is currently working on a book about Scottish Victorian aristocratic life.

As Lady MacGregor of MacGregor, Fiona is married to the Chief of Clan Gregor. She is the Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries, one of the Queen’s personal representatives in Scotland.

Paul Ward
Paul Ward - Professional Photographer

Paul Ward was the expert photographer commissioned by Cunard to produce the stunning Cunard building architectural photographs in all of Queen Mary 2’s remastered staterooms. Paul also specialises in landscape photography and will be on board to offer expert insight into the world of landscape photography, host interactive workshops and accompany guided excursions ashore to help guests make the most of their photographs.

Paul has over 20 years experience in the photographic industry. As well as photography, he has a wide variety of other creative skills such as digital photo-manipulation, 3d computer animation, video production, and graphic design.

Ross Hoddinott - Natural history & landscape photographer
Ross Hoddinott - Natural history & landscape photographer

Ross Hoddinott is one of the UK’s leading natural history and landscape photographers. Ross has been working as a full time professional since 1997, supplying imagery and undertaking commissions for a wide range of publications and clients worldwide.

Based in the South West of England, Ross is a multi-award winning photographer best known for his intimate close-ups of nature, and for evocative landscape photographs.

He is a member of the 2020VISION photo team, an Ambassador for Nikon UK (2013-15) and a Manfrotto Ambassador. Ross is the author of eight highly-rated photography books, including Digital Macro & Close-up Photography, Digital Exposure Handbook, and The Landscape Photography Workshop.

Lord Malcolm MacGregor
Sir Malcolm MacGregor - Landscape Photographer

Sir Malcolm MacGregor of MacGregor is 24th Chief of Clan Gregor. As head of the ‘Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs’, he liaises closely with Scottish groups in North America, Australia and New Zealand. Well versed in tartan and clan matters, he is also one of Scotland’s leading landscape photographers, specialising in capturing images of the wild.

He served as an officer for 17 years with the Scots Guards and Gurkhas and on leaving the army became a full-time photographer. His book, Wilderness Oman tapped into an eclectic mix of desert, mountain and coast. The Outer Hebrides, features photographs from these islands on the far edge of Scotland. Sir Malcolm also specialises in photographing Scotland’s castles and stately homes. His work is featured in national and international magazines.
