Evenings on board offer so many pleasures: deciding where to dine, choosing whether to dance, mingle or take in a show. And then there's the fun of dressing for the occasion.

You may anticipate the curtain going up at the Royal Court Theatre for another glittering performance. If you love energetic musical numbers, you’re in the right place too. Equally, stand-up comedy, a magician or a late-night film might make your ideal evening.

Ahead lies the ocean and nights that will be filled with music, dancing, laughter and priceless moments that will stay with you for years to come.

- Deck promenade.
  Take in the fresh sea air on deck and relish the unbeatable spectacle of the sun setting over sparkling waves, pre-dinner cocktail in hand. On board Queen Victoria's new aft deck sun terrace, you can enjoy al fresco dining and live entertainment late into the evening.
- Shopping.
  Visit the Royal Arcade to browse global, iconic brands from all over the world - including collections exclusive to Cunard - from prestigious labels such as Aspinal and Furla. Take away special keepsakes of your time on board. Shop at our beautiful bookshop and souvenir shop, specialising in nautical literature, posters, postcards, collectables and memorabilia. The shopping arcade opens daily into the evening.
- Dancing.
  In the Queens Room, the full orchestra fills the floor and you can put the day's tango lessons to good use. If you yearn to dance but haven't a willing partner, our charming gentleman hosts will be delighted to take your hand and show you the steps.
- Gymnasium.
  Gaze out to the sea as you run on a treadmill, try a step machine or do resistance training in the Fitness Centre, open to everyone until 8pm.
- Nightclubs.
  Visit one of our nightclubs and dance late into the evening with the sounds of the live DJ and resident party band. The place for late night dancing on board Queen Elizabeth is The Yacht Club - on Queen Mary 2, it's G32. On Queen Victoria, the nightclub is called Hemispheres (Yacht Club post-refit).
- Spa.
  Thermal suites for languishing, frothy spa pools for dipping and vast ocean views to get lost in. Welcome to the luxurious Royal Spas on board Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth and the Canyon Ranch SpaClub® on Queen Mary 2 (one of the largest spas at sea). Each superb spa can lift you to another level of relaxation - a quiet retreat offering you a tempting range of indulgent treatments.

- Live music.
  As you wander the ship, live music is around every corner throughout the evening, from jazz ensembles to classical recitals, singers and soloists. A jazz trio may up the tempo in the Chart Room, or you could take your seat for a classical recital.
- Film screenings.
  Enjoy some of the latest cinema releases in the spectacular setting of the Royal Court Theatre on board Queen Elizabeth or Queen Victoria, or Illuminations on board Queen Mary 2, which also screens 3D films.
- Dance productions.
  Our full-sized Royal Court Theatres are the elegant setting for West End-calibre shows. Popular recent productions have included cutting-edge dance production shows 'La Danza,' and 'Rhythm of the Night,' which took audiences on a magical journey through the sights and sounds of Latin America.
- Comedy.
  Join some of the most popular touring comedians for a light-hearted evening's entertainment.
- Theatrical productions.
  Watch lavish West-End calibre production shows in the extravagant setting of the Royal Court Theatre.
- Gallery viewings.
  Visit the Clarendon Fine Art Gallery and enjoy a glass of champagne and a presentation on the stories, inspirations and techniques of one of many renowned featured artists. The Art Gallery features some of the finest collectable original artwork and limited edition prints from an award-winning portfolio.

- Royal Nights themed balls.
  Nights spent aboard a Cunard ocean liner are truly magical, and Royal Nights themed balls are a signature part of that experience. Look forward to spending an enchanting evening dancing to the live orchestra in the elegant Queens Room - the largest ballroom at sea.
- Casino.
  Step into the glittering Casino and try your luck at traditional table games, along with the latest slot machines - and don't worry if you haven't played before, you can join one of the fun gaming lessons or ask any of our casino dealers to explain the rules. For a small entry fee you can buy into a Roulette or Blackjack tournament.
- Whirlpools.
  In warm weather, the high decks are the place to be, with a choice of inviting swimming pools as well as whirlpools. Where better to unwind, socialise and delight in watching the sun set over the ocean?
- Karaoke.
  Do you fancy yourself as an entertainer? In the traditional Golden Lion pub, the spotlight may be on you, as you interpret a track or two during a lively karaoke event.
- Portrait studio.
  Every Cunard cruise is filled with wonderful moments you’ll cherish for years to come. During your voyage our photographers will be on hand around the ship to take your picture as a souvenir of your time on board. These photographs will be on display in the photo gallery each night and you may purchase these on an ad-hoc basis.
- Quizzes and trivia.
  Settle down in the Golden Lion with a favourite drink and test your knowledge of all kinds of trivia in the nightly pub quiz.
