Hot-foot it to a tango lesson - slow, quick, quick, slow - or spend the afternoon socialising in a martini mixology class. Learn how to get the most from an iPad, or, if you finish your photography lesson early, put your new skills into action - our three Queens are nothing if not photogenic. From fencing and watercolour painting to shuffleboard, you're spoilt for ways to brush up on existing talents or to discover ones you never knew you possessed.

If you're more a fan of quiet contemplation, lose yourself in any one of the 6,000 books in the largest libraries at sea. Take a stroll around the promenade deck - perhaps you'll spot a dolphin or two. Or simply people watch from the comfort of a poolside hot tub.

Whatever you're drawn to, you need no invitation.

Creating your own to-do list from all of the day's possibilities is just part of the fun. As is sharing your findings with fellow guests - people who could be tomorrow's croquet companions, bridge partner or fellow cocktail connoisseurs.

- Deck games.
  Cunard passengers have been enjoying the traditional nautical games of shuffleboard and deck quoits for almost as long as we have been sailing. Challenge friends to a game or join in one of the tournaments advertised in the Daily Programme. Queen Elizabeth’s Sports Deck is unique amongst our fleet and offers a refined area to enjoy bowls, paddle tennis and croquet to name a few pastimes.
- Sporting activities.
  A range of sports are catered for on board, including fencing, golf (chipping, putting and target nets) and tennis. If you're in the mood for a little friendly competition there are sports tournaments throughout the day - from quoits to table tennis and from darts to our very own decathlon.
- Fitness sessions.
  Our fully equipped gymnasiums are open to all passengers. As well as the latest technogym equipment, trained fitness instructors are on hand to give guidance where needed. Personal trainers are available to tailor bespoke fitness programs to help you reach your fitness goals. We also offer a range of fitness classes such as yoga, spinning, boot camp and pilates.
- Promenade deck.
  How many times around the Promenade deck will equal one mile? To cover a mile on board Queen Mary 2 you need to finish 3 laps. On Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria the Promenade Deck is just under 527 yards long, so you'd need to complete just a little over 3 laps. The pace you decide to take is up to you - will you make it bracing or gentle?
- Behind the scenes tours.
  Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes in the day to day running of an ocean liner? Join a behind the scenes tour to see the back of house operations and meet the Senior Officers on board.
- Spa.
  Thermal suites for languishing, frothy spa pools for dipping and vast ocean views to get lost in. - Art.
  Art is a powerful form of expression, not only for the artists who create it, but also for those who own it. Art classes offer you the chance to hone your creative style, whilst Cunard's on board gallery, hosted by Clarendon Fine Art, has an eclectic portfolio brimming with exciting, unique opportunities for the contemporary art lover.
- Live music.
  As you wander the ship, live music is around every corner, from jazz ensembles to classical recitals, singers and soloists.
- The library.
  Browse over 6,000 titles in the most impressive book collections at sea, where the warm mahogany interior and leather armchairs invite quiet contemplation. The Cunard Book Club also offers the opportunity for thought-provoking literary discussions among guests. It’s led by the Librarian, who will provide a short history of the author and lead the discussion.
- Illuminations planetarium.
  On board Queen Mary 2, experience a virtual adventure to visit distant galaxies in Illuminations, the world's only planetarium at sea. With the dome retracted, Illuminations becomes a cinema, screening 3D and 2D films at matinee performances, as well as serving as an auditorium for Cunard Insights guest speakers.
- Film screenings.
  Enjoy some of the latest cinema releases during your voyage in the spectacular setting of the Royal Court Theatre, or Illuminations on board Queen Mary 2. You'll also find a selection of films available throughout the day on your in-stateroom television. Example films shown on board

- Solo travellers.
  It couldn't be easier to meet people on board. The ship's social host ensures that guests need never feel out of place, enabling solo travellers to make connections at specially hosted coffee gatherings and dinner tables, and also a range of daytime activities. Indeed, before your invitation to the 'Welcome Cocktail Party' arrives, there's every chance you'll already have met the perfect company to share in the excitement.
- Casino.
  Try your hand at roulette in the Monte Carlo-inspired casino, which offers plenty of opportunities to tempt Lady Luck, from gaming tables and slot machines to video poker. If you’re not sure how to play, take advantage of the complimentary gaming lessons. Gaming in the casino
- Dancing.
  There is no better place to hone your dancing skills than under the dramatic high ceiling of the Queens Room - the largest dance floor at sea - with its beautiful crystal chandeliers. Coupled dance instructors offer a variety of dance lessons from ballroom to Latin, whether you're an absolute beginner or keen to perfect your footwork. Our gentleman hosts are on hand if you're longing to dance.
- Indoor games.
  Play popular board games as well as traditional favourites such as card games, cribbage, Mahjong, backgammon and chess - or visit the Golden Lion Pub to play darts. On Queen Elizabeth's outer deck, guests can play giant chess. Bridge lessons are offered on sea days with expert tuition for beginners and improvers, hosted by the Bridge Instructor. There's also the opportunity to meet new friends by joining the many social games scheduled throughout your cruise.
- Quizzes and trivia.
  Test your general knowledge and pit your wits against fellow travellers in a series of lively quizzes organised daily throughout your voyage. Choose your challenge: do you know your Gershwin from your Coltrane? Dare you compete in a nerve-wracking wipe-out quiz? For the visually-minded there are picture quizzes, or you could join a trivia team. As if any further encouragement were needed, participate in several on board quizzes and you could accumulate points, which can be redeemed for a range of prizes.
- Live sports coverage.
  Sport24 offers coverage of major sporting events including Premier League, Wimbledon, Formula 1, the Ryder Cup and many others. You can enjoy this channel in selected bars and lounges, and in all staterooms and suites. Watching sport on board
