Board your local bus and make your way through Suva to Edinburgh Drive where you can capture the commanding views of Suva Harbour and Lauthala Bay. Your journey will take you past Fiji’s Medical School, Suva Agricultural Station and the fertile flat lands which lead to the town of Nausori. As you cross the Waimanu River, famous for its water lilies, you’ll pass Adi Cakobau School, now a well-known boarding school for girls.

Friendly villagers are waiting for you at the Village of Rewa Delta, to present you with a pretty garland as they serenade you. Fijian warriors in traditional dress will escort you to the village meeting place to join the village Chief and the men folk in the preparation of Kava (Fijian ceremonial drink).

Learn of the history and Fijian way of life, view traditional art and craft demonstrations, such as mat, basket and hat weaving, and enjoy a guided walk around the village. You’ll also have an opportunity to purchase souvenir items made by the villagers.



This tour will operate by coach and on foot. The Kava ceremony is for demonstration only. Guests are requested to take precautions in case of rain and wear comfortable shoes. To respect local traditions, whilst in the village, visitors are requested not to wear hats and women should wear clothing, which covers their knees. Please remember to take local currency if wishing to purchase craft items.

This tour is perfect for adventurers who want to discover Moorea off the beaten tracks. Travelling in a 4x4 vehicle, you’ll see inside the volcanic craters which created the island, explore the pineapple plantations and the lush rainforest landscapes.

Resembling a star shaped garden, Moorea is agriculturally rich with vanilla, bananas, grapefruits and lemons. Renowned for its agricultural school, children travel from the outer islands to attend. As you drive across this large plantation, your guide will describe the flora and fauna of Moorea.

Continue your exploration to visit a marae, a sacred place which served both religious and social purposes in ancient Polynesian societies. Enjoy stunning views over the island at the Belvedere lookout.

At magic mountain, follow a small path surrounded by grapefruits, lemons and oranges, before emerging to one of the most beautiful views over the island.

There is a short but steep hike to the mountain viewpoint, therefore we recommend you wear footwear suitable for hiking over rough, uneven and wet ground. Please bring water, hat and sunscreen.

Your drive will take you on a tour of this visually stunning fairy-tail destination, where relaxation is encapsulated. Being such a compact island with no towns and a population of just 12,000, you will get to see the jagged volcanic mountains, tropical landscapes and the white sandy beaches. Stopping at a pineapple plantation, you’ll learn about this renowned and significant resource to Moorea.

Described as one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the world, the Belvedere Lookout is a must for all visitors to Moorea. Located at the centre of this heart-shaped island, from here you will be able to see the crystal clear waters of the famous Opunohu Bay and Cook’s Bay, with the sacred Rotui Mountain dividing them.

For a glimpse of past Tahitian culture, visit a marae, one of the ancient temples used in Moorea for worship. Tahitians take great pride in the black pearls that are produced in their waters, and a short shopping stop at ‘Le Petit Village’ will give you time to look at these, as well as other local produce.

This tour focuses on Eva Duarte, the wife of Juan D Perón, and her political life, tragic death and the continuity of her myth that lives on. Visit the key landmarks of her life as well as the museum opened to commemorate her legacy.

The journey through the life of Evita begins in Plaza de Mayo, to view the balcony at the Casa Rosada, the Presidential House from where she used to talk to the Argentine people. Proceed onto the Recoleta Cemetery, to visit the tomb of Evita and see the amazing above ground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues. This is where generations of Argentine families rest in ornate splendour and where you will visit Evita´s final resting place.

The Evita Museum was opened to mark the 50th anniversary of her death. Learn about the truth, life and work of one of the most important women in Argentine history. Though a unique patrimony, increased with donations, you will be able to learn about her life, social reality and the international context of Evita´s days.

Round off your tour with a scenic drive through Palermo with its magnificent mansions and parks, before returning to the ship.

The first stop on your orientation of the Fijian capital Suva is the Fiji Museum, which contains a fascinating exhibit on the cannibal era, along with the rudder from Captain Bligh’s Bounty and other displays of ancient pottery, double-war canoes and much more.

As you continue your scenic drive through the city you’ll pass Government House, the official residence of the President of the Republic of Fiji, Saint Giles Hospital, The Australian Embassy and Tamavua Heights for a panoramic view of the Suva Harbour.

Your friendly guide will point out the National Sporting Centre, site of the 2003 South Pacific Games, the University of The South Pacific, Parliament House Building and the British and United States Embassy.

Refreshments will be offered at a local hotel, and some time will be allowed for shopping within the city business centre.



This tour will operate by coach and on foot. Passengers are advised that much of the sightseeing will be done from the coach, but walking at the Museum and during the shopping time is to be expected.

As you begin your panoramic island drive you will drive south through the main city of Moselle. You will see historical landmarks and colonial buildings before arriving in the more modern Baie de l’Orphelina with many luxurious yachts berthed in the marina.

Continue south and see two of Noumea’s spectacular beaches, the very European Baie des Citrons where clothing is optional and tree fringed Anse Vata which is a paradise for watersports lovers.

Ouen Toro Lookout is the perfect place to take photos and absorb stunning views of the world’s largest lagoon. From here, you’ll gain an excellent view of the bays and beaches, across the lagoon to small marine reserve islands with fringing coral reefs. Drive to Fauberg Blanchot, the old colonial quarter of the city to the Notre Dame du Pacifique, this lookout is dominated by a statue of Virgin Mary which is illuminated at night

Enjoy a taste of France as you visit a local restaurant where you will have the opportunity to sample a selection of French wines and cheeses before returning to the ship.


This excursion is mainly by coach with very little walking. The order of this tour may vary depending on local conditions.

You will take a panoramic drive through the city centre of Noumea in an air-conditioned coach. Along the way your guide will highlight various landmarks including the typically French architecture and South Pacific culture.

Your first stop will be Parc Forestier, the park overlooks the city of Noumea at an elevation of 548 feet and covers 85 acres, of which 20 acres are open to visitors. In addition to flora and fauna this Park has ponds and lakes, and is home to a large variety of wild and domestic birds.

In the company of your guide, set off at an easy pace along well-marked, level walkways through this peaceful sanctuary offering a natural look at the flora, together with the animal and bird-life of the South Pacific. Among the many species you may see is the Cagou, a flightless bird that is the symbol of New Caledonia, with a call often mistaken for that of a barking dog. After your tour, you’ll be offered a light refreshment before you return to the ship.

Embark on a drive through some of the outer suburbs of Brisbane before crossing the iconic Story Bridge with its amazing views of the city.

At the boat pier, you will board the grand timber Mississippi style paddle steamer for a cruise along Brisbane River, through the heart of Brisbane and the Wharf Area. Listen to the informative commentary that will introduce you to the city’s landmarks, its culture and people. View the multimillion-dollar mansions on the river at Norman Park, the historic building of Shafston House at Kangaroo Point and the Story Bridge. Marvel at the eclectic mix of historic and modern architecture, and travel past the extensive South Bank Parklands, developed on the site of 1988 World Expo. Savour a light morning tea as you experience the ambience and atmosphere aboard this majestic paddle steamer.
Before returning to the ship, a brief coach tour of Brisbane’s in-land sights will complete your overview of this fascinating city.


This excursion will operate by coach and paddle steamer. There is a walk of 500 yards from the coach to the paddle steamer and approximately three steps to board the vessel. If you wish to access the sun deck a further ten steps will need to be negotiated.

Occupying the site of a former Tahitian temple on Fisherman’s Point, the historic Museum of Tahiti and Her Islands contains many fascinating archaeological and ethnological artefacts, as well as a display on the area’s beautiful flora and fauna.

Enjoy colourful exhibits of Polynesian culture, traditional costumes, religion, dancing and music. The island boasts so much history to be discovered at the Museum. including the exploratory and missionary periods of the adventurers Captain James Cook, Louis-Antoine de Bougainville and Samuel Wallis.

A short stop will be made at Vaipahi Garden where you can view tropical plants, refreshing springs and waterfalls.

Afterwards, visit the restored religious site of Marae Arahurahu, dedicated to the ancient gods and site of many important ceremonies.

The Gauguin Museum is a remarkable memorial to the great post-impressionist artist, Paul Gauguin. Set around a tranquil garden, you’ll look around the beautiful rooms containing original Gauguin documents, engravings, sculptures and photographs, to experience the life and works of this important creator.


This excursion will operate by coach. Please note that there is approximately 1 hour of walking in total on this tour over paved ground, with some sand and gravel.

From Brisbane you will head south to the famous Gold Coast, where you will find Q1 Resort, one of the world’s tallest residential towers. A stop will be made to allow you to take the elevator up 77 floors to the Skypoint, Australia's only beachside observation deck, located at the top. Rising a sheer 755 feet into the sky you will be able to take in the 360 degree views of the Gold Coast that extend from the surf to the hinterland and beyond. After the amazing views from above, rejoin your coach and listen as your guide points out many of the interesting city sights before arriving at the Palazzo Versace.

Palazzo Versace is the evolution of the Versace lifestyle, a place of Renaissance splendour and elegance in a location of breathtaking beauty. In a spectacular waterfront setting, every aspect of architecture, ambience, furnishings and ornamentation reflects the level of opulence once confined to the grand hotels of Europe. Enjoy a delicious high tea of scones with jam and cream, selected cakes and finger sandwiches together with your choice of tea or coffee in one of the hotel’s stylish rooms.

After your high tea, you will have free time to explore the boutique shopping strip of Marina Mirage, which is located next to Palazzo Versace. Alternatively you may take a stroll along the beautiful beach front.


This excursion will operate by coach. Walking is at guests' own discretion. There will be approximately 45 minutes of free time at Marina Mirage. This excursion is not recommended for guests who do not like heights.

In the late 19th century the village of Buenos Aires was becoming an immigrant city, where frustrated and melancholic Europeans displaced gaucho rustics, retreated gradually to the ever more distant countryside. The children of those immigrants would become the first generation of ‘porteños’ (locals) and became the catalyst of the Tango song summarising the new urban style.

Permeated with nostalgia over a disappearing way of life, the Tango expressed the apprehensions and anxieties of the people at the time during an unsettled period in history.

During this unforgettable afternoon, you will have the opportunity to admire all the qualities of the Tango in its different expressions with Tango dancers and singers accompanied by an orchestra. Get to know this amazing country through its traditional dance, music and local cuisine.

Your adventure begins with a drive through the vibrant capital. From the bustling downtown area, turn off the main road to begin your amazing 4x4 adventure. Travel along the beautiful east coast to the abundant hilly interior of this mystical Island.

Papenoo Valley is the largest in Tahiti, with a dramatic bridge which spans the island’s longest river. Passing through the Papenoo Valley is as exciting as it is exotic. You’ll traverse the interior of the island following the line of the cascading valley, rich in archaeological sites, spectacular views of impressive waterfalls. See the cooling mountain streams and vertical cliff faces, laced with green vines and tropical vegetation.

Hear about Tahiti's large native population, who used to live within the valley walls, and see where these inhabitants grew their crops. You’ll visit French Polynesia's only lake, a place which not only boasts an interesting history, but has incredibly beautiful surroundings.


ACTIVITY EXCURSIONS
You and all those in your party should be aware that, in undertaking activity excursions, you will be involved in a degree of physical exertion and/or activity such as hiking, biking, snorkelling, kayaking, diving etc. By booking the excursion you confirm that you and all those in your party are in good physical and mental condition, with no history of conditions such as seizures, dizziness, fainting, heart condition, respiratory problems or back/neck problems (by way of example only). Board the ‘Little Trolley Train’ and take a panoramic drive up to the Notre Dame du Pacifique lookout point for spectacular views over the city.

You’ll see military barracks built over 100 years ago, charming Faubourg Blanchot, which is one of Noumea’s oldest neighbour hoods with its enchanting old colonial homes.

The grand Promenade Pierre Vernier is lined with tall coconut palm trees and edges the waterfront and is reminiscent of the South of France.

You will then make your ascent to the lookout at Ouen Toro, where a panoramic view of the blue lagoon and neighboring islands awaits you and your camera. Enjoy a glass of cider and local pastries while soaking up the natural beauty.

Next, it’s on to Anse Vata Beach, a true paradise for watersports enthusiasts, and Lemon Bay, a favourite getaway for visitors and locals alike. You will see the Yacht Club, Orphelinat Bay and the Southern Province Government House.

Finally, you will drive through the Place des Cocotiers – Noumea’s lively shopping centre. Here, you may choose to alight the ‘Little Trolley Train’ and peruse the many shops and boutiques. The ship is a 10 minute walk away, or, you may remain on the train and return to the ship.


This tour will operate by trolley train and on foot. Guests must be able to negotiate the step onto and off the Trolley Train and a few steps at the look-out. Guests on the last departure will not be able to remain in town at the end of the tour.

The gaucho party is held at a beautiful country residence, in an old ranch on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. You will be welcomed with typical Argentinian specialities, such as empanadas and the traditionally excellent wines.

There will be time to explore and admire the scenic pampas, at this characteristic farmhouse, located around 70 miles outside Buenos Aires. Afterwards, luncheon will be served, with a complete Asado, (BBQ) to enjoy.

After the meal, a folkloric musical show will take place followed by Argentinian dances and songs. You will be invited to watch the horse show, demonstrating classic entertainment types where gauchos show their ability and skills dealing with horses.


This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. There is minimal walking on this tour; however there is some uneven ground at the ranch. The ranch outdoor programme, including the horse show, races and gaucho skills demonstration are subject to weather and terrain conditions. In case of rain during or before the visit, the outdoor part of the programme may have to be cancelled. There are several working dogs on the ranch. The order of highlights & activities may vary. The tour duration is dependent on traffic conditions.

Drive past Avenue del Libertador, passing by the residential suburban neighbourhoods of Vicente Lopez, Martinez and Olivos. Upon reaching San Isidro y Acassusso, enjoy a little free time to visit the square and Cathedral.

As you drive through the peaceful narrow roads, you will pass by the yacht clubs, mansions and tree-lined roads before reaching Tigre. For more than 100 years, the maze of rivers and channels of the Tigre Delta have been a favourite weekend getaway for porteños, the term for locals and Buenos Aires inhabitants.

Step aboard an island launch style river boat and enter a world that has barely changed since the 1920’s. Glide through the green labyrinth of channels and streams that open its doors to let you explore the nature of its islands. Enjoy a coffee and a local pastry as you take in the sights of beautiful riverside villas, Victorian docks, English-style gardens, and traditional rowing and boating clubs.


BEACH/WATER RELATED EXCURSIONS
For any excursion involving water, guests are reminded to exercise particular care. Alcohol and eating a full meal should be avoided before swimming. If buoyancy aids are provided for an activity they must be worn at all times. You should bear in mind that the sea is unpredictable. Lifeguards are unlikely to be present and there may not be a flag system to indicate whether or not it is safe to go in the water. In addition, beach activities may not be supervised or accompanied and so you should take care to satisfy yourself as to the safety of the beach and/or the sea at the time of your excursion. Please exercise caution when entering the sea as the seabed and aquatic environment is capable of springing surprises and we have not inspected the beach or seabed for its safety. Children must be supervised by you at all times near water. All activities on the beach, water and in the sea are undertaken at your own risk. You’ll need to take swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and flat shoes that can be worn in the water.

This excursion will operate by coach and motor boat. There is minimal walking on this tour; however there are approximately 15 steps to embark/disembark the motor boat. The order of highlights may vary and the tour duration may change slightly due to traffic conditions. Visits to the Cathedral are subject to opening times and not permitted during services. Shorts or mini-skirts are not permitted to be worn inside the Cathedral.
