    Sail in and out of Moorea’s famous bays, find some playful stingrays living in the lagoons and take a dip in the inviting ocean.

    According to ancient legend, the two magnificent bays of Moorea were created by the tail of a huge lizard, and this gave the island its name – yellow (rea) lizard (moo).

    Explore both of these famous bays, Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay, as you sail into the lagoons. Take in the dramatic scenery of the island from the ocean, as well as the rainbow colours of fish living in the clear waters.

    Your guide will endeavour to find some of the magnificent stingrays that live in the turquoise lagoons that surround Moorea, and you will be able to see how friendly and gentle these beautiful creatures are. Your guide will feed the rays in the water, and you can watch from the water or the boat as they happily play in the shallow waters.

    Take a dip in the crystal clear waters, before sailing back.

    The city of Buenos Aires is open and spacious with an abundance of parkland and elegant shops. Drive down one of the widest boulevards in the world, the 9 de Julio, past the Obelisk commemorating 100 years of the first national government.

    A stop will be made for photographs at the Plaza de Mayo bordered by the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral with the mausoleum of San Martin, and the Cabildo the colonial town hall. Continue onto Caminito, located in colourful La Boca where the first Italian immigrants settled in 1851, for approximately 30 minutes of free time.

    No visit to Buenos Aires would be complete without visiting the remarkable and unique Recoleta neighbourhood, where you will find the city's aristocratic cemetery with Evita Peron's tomb. Here you will have some free time to explore or visit the tomb if you wish. Round off your tour with a drive through the fashionable Palermo Quarter, with its exclusive houses, lakes and parks.

    An opportunity to discover Ponta Delgada on foot, and enjoy the charming Botanical Gardens.

    City Walk & Botanical Gardens

    Setting off from the port, enjoy a brief drive to the centre where, upon arrival, your walking tour will commence. Ponta Delgada is well known for it's churches and you will head to one of the most visited, the Church of St Sebastian. The Gothic style church is believed to have been constructed between 1531 and 1547.

    Your walk will then continue through the bustling main streets of Ponta Delgada before making a stop at the Convent and Chapel of Our Lady of Hope. The richly decorated 16th century chapel is home to the statue of ‘Jesus Christ of the Miracles’, a present given to the nuns of the convent by Pope Clement VII in 1530.

    After your walking tour, you will rejoin your coach for a short drive to the Jose Canto Botanical Garden. Here, you can learn the history of Jose Canto, a renowned gardener and botanist, and enjoy a stroll through the pleasant gardens. To round off your tour, another short drive will take you to the Antonio Borges Botanical Gardens, established by local politician and merchant trader António Borges Medeiros, an avid 19th century amateur botanist. Take a wander through the gardens, before the return drive to the port.

    An opportunity to get to know the Argentine gaucho by participating in a real gaucho festival, with traditional music and dance.

    Gaucho Party

    The gaucho party is held at a beautiful country residence, in an old ranch on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. You will be welcomed with typical Argentinian specialities, such as empanadas and the traditionally excellent wines.

    There will be time to explore and admire the scenic pampas, at this characteristic farmhouse, located around 70 miles outside Buenos Aires. Afterwards, luncheon will be served, with a complete Asado, (BBQ) to enjoy.

    After the meal, a folkloric musical show will take place followed by Argentinian dances and songs. You will be invited to watch the horse show, demonstrating classic entertainment types where gauchos show their ability and skills dealing with horses.

The ranch outdoor programme, including the horse show, races and gaucho skills demonstration are subject to weather and terrain conditions.     Cruise through an amazing undersea world at depths of 50 to 150 feet as you embark on a voyage of discovery aboard the Atlantis Submarine. Atlantis is one of the premier attractions in the Caribbean, providing a unique exposure to a fascinating underwater world.

    You will board a ferry for the short transfer out to the dive site to join the Atlantis Submarine. The colour and abundance of exotic fish, spectacular sponge gardens and fascinating coral formations will be unveiled outside your porthole.

    Atlantis is maintained at a cool air-conditioned temperature and sea level pressure. Experienced crew will point out and describe the sights in detail as tropical fish pass within touching distance of your porthole.



    This excursion will operate by bus, boat and submarine. Children under four are not permitted to participate and all participating children must be at least three feet tall. This tour involves very little walking, however guests must be able to negotiate an 11 step ladder into and out of the Atlantis Submarine. The Submarine dive lasts approximately 50 minutes. The views underwater are subject to local sea conditions on the day.

Point Venus was the landing place of the first European discoverers and where the only lighthouse in Tahiti can be found. You’ll stop to take in the historic sights and special island atmosphere of this location.

    The splendid Blowhole of Arahoho is located 14 miles north east of Papeete in the district of Tiarei. This geological phenomenon has been fascinating visitors for centuries.Feel the power of the sea as it is pressed into an ancient lava tube, before exploding in a thunderous spray.

    Visit the beautiful James Norman Hall Museum, dedicated to the American writer and author of the legendary best seller, ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’. This charming colonial-style home is sure to captivate your imaginative heart.

    Your final stop on the tour will be to view at least one of the trio of falls that make up the Faaurumai Waterfalls in the north east of the island.


    This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. Guests are recommended to take bottled water, as this cannot be provided on the tour. There is rough and uneven ground at the Blowhole, so sensible flat-soled shoes should be worn. Guests should take care when crossing the road at the Blowhole as the stop is on a bend.
