Head across the island to the spectacular Scotland District, an area of undulating landscapes overlooking the very scenic east coast. Your route passes acres of waving sugar cane and takes you through quaint rural villages with brightly painted rum shops and chattel houses. The beautiful rugged landscape, intriguing architecture and good-natured country folk, combine to make this a unique experience.

Enjoy the sights of Bathsheba, on the east coast, the most photographed area on the island. Watch the Atlantic breakers pound relentlessly against giant coral boulders and create whirlpools of foaming surf. A photographer's delight.


This excursion will operate by minibus and on foot. This tour has some walking over flat surfaces and includes some steps.

This unbelievable experience will take you out on the lagoon, up to Taapuna Pass, where surfers play with on waves, before taking to the high seas and sailing to Fishermen’s Bay where a family of Spinner Dolphins love to play.

You may have the pleasure to see these beautiful marine mammals jump out of the water and will leave you spellbound with their leaps and acrobatics.

Afterwards, see the famous surfing spot of Sapinus before heading back to the lagoon, where you’ll be met with a refreshing drink.

Weather permitting, some free time will be given in order to snorkel and observe the marine fauna as well as seeing 3 wrecks.

This excursion operates by boat. Participants must be physically fit, have snorkelling experience, be competent swimmers and able to cope with undercurrents. Boats are basic and offer little or no protection from the sun. Masks and snorkels are provided, however fins are not. Please remember to wear your swimwear under your clothes, take a towel and sunscreen.Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Pregnant women and children under 12 cannot participate. The boat takes 12 people.

Visit the Auckland Sky Tower, which standing at 1,076 feet, is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. With its two observation decks and revolving restaurant it offers unparalleled views coast to coast. Glass-fronted lifts will whisk you to the glass floored main observation deck where you will see Auckland beneath your feet.

After a short waterfront drive you will arrive at Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter. This is one of Auckland's most popular attractions, a wonderland of snow, ice and underwater sights.

The Underwater World contains a moving walkway which will transport you through clear acrylic tunnels for a first hand experience of the treasures of the deep. See the rich variety of species from New Zealand's coastal waters and come face to face with sharks, turtles, giant rays and other incredible deep sea creatures.

The Antarctic Encounter is home to New Zealand's only sub-Antarctic penguins, offering a rare opportunity to see the magnificent King and Gentoo penguins up close in their icy domain. You will also be able to walk through a replica of Captain Robert Falcon Scott's Antarctic hut from 1911, complete with authentic memorabilia offers a glimpse at what it was like to live 100 years ago in the coldest place on earth.


This excursion will operate by coach. There is approximately 45 minutes of total walking throughout the tour on level surfaces. All venues are fully accessible wheelchair accessible.

Setting off from the port, enjoy a brief drive to the centre where, upon arrival, your walking tour will commence. Ponta Delgada is well known for it's churches and you will head to one of the most visited, the Church of St Sebastian. The Gothic style church is believed to have been constructed between 1531 and 1547.

Your walk will then continue through the bustling main streets of Ponta Delgada before making a stop at the Convent and Chapel of Our Lady of Hope. The richly decorated 16th century chapel is home to the statue of ‘Jesus Christ of the Miracles’, a present given to the nuns of the convent by Pope Clement VII in 1530.

After your walking tour, you will rejoin your coach for a short drive to the Jose Canto Botanical Garden. Here, you can learn the history of Jose Canto, a renowned gardener and botanist, and enjoy a stroll through the pleasant gardens. To round off your tour, another short drive will take you to the Antonio Borges Botanical Gardens, established by local politician and merchant trader António Borges Medeiros, an avid 19th century amateur botanist. Take a wander through the gardens, before the return drive to the port.


This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. This tour involves around two hours of walking which includes some cobblestoned surfaces and steps. There are also gravel surfaces at the gardens. Flat, non slip walking shoes are advised. Modest attire is required when entering churches. Services may be held without notice which may prevent an inside visit.

The Seminole Indians originally called this immense wilderness ‘Pahay Okee’, meaning ‘grassy water’, and today it is commonly known as Florida’s ‘River of Grass’. The Everglades’ natural beauty and wildlife reveals itself to you during a 30-minute airboat ride into this vast wilderness. Keep an eye out for the numerous native birds and fish, and perhaps a few alligators, which inhabit this curious corner of the country.

Enjoy a 30 minute narrated tram ride through the lush natural surroundings and sub-tropical botanical gardens. Free time is then afforded for you to explore other areas of the gardens such as the ‘free-flight’ aviary and the homestead of Floyd and Jane Wray, the original owners of the estate. Browse the gift shop, relax in the café or daydream under a sweeping Banyan tree.

This excursion will operate by coach, airboat and on foot. This tour involves limited walking, however guests must walk 50 yards to board the airboat and negotiate a large step onto the boat. Walking at the Gardens is along paved, flat pathways. Please note airboat engines are very loud and foam earplugs will be provided.

You will take a panoramic drive through the city centre of Noumea in an air-conditioned coach. Along the way your guide will highlight various landmarks including the typically French architecture and South Pacific culture.

Your first stop will be Parc Forestier, the park overlooks the city of Noumea at an elevation of 548 feet and covers 85 acres, of which 20 acres are open to visitors. In addition to flora and fauna this Park has ponds and lakes, and is home to a large variety of wild and domestic birds.

In the company of your guide, set off at an easy pace along well-marked, level walkways through this peaceful sanctuary offering a natural look at the flora, together with the animal and bird-life of the South Pacific. Among the many species you may see is the Cagou, a flightless bird that is the symbol of New Caledonia, with a call often mistaken for that of a barking dog. After your tour, you’ll be offered a light refreshment before you return to the ship.



This tour will operate by coach and on foot. There is approximately two hour’s total walking on this tour. Please wear flat, comfortable shoes.

Your first stop on your Miami grand tour is a visit to the Everglades National Park, for an exhilarating airboat ride through the grassy waters. The Everglades’ natural beauty and wildlife reveals itself during a 30 minute exploration of this vast wilderness. Keep an eye out for the numerous native birds and fish, and perhaps a few alligators, which inhabit this curious corner of the country.

Enjoy some free time on your own for luncheon at one of the many restaurants or the food court at Miami Bayside Marketplace.

Then it’s all aboard the ‘Island Queen’ for a 1½ hour sightseeing cruise around Biscayne Bay. Make sure you have your camera to capture the “Rich & Famous” on Palm Island, Hibiscus Island and Star Island.

You will re-join your coach and take a panoramic drive through the Art Deco District and fashionable South Beach, before returning to the port.

This excursion will operate by coach and boat. The itinerary may operate in reverse.

Discover the island of San Miguel in vehicles best suited for the terrain. The journey will take you into the mountains, leaving the town behind and reveal to you lesser-known areas. The ruggedness of the high mountains, covered with trees indigenous to the area, hydrangeas and other varieties of vegetation, contrasts with the softness of the valleys, sparkling clear streams and small villages that you pass.

Vast farmland guarantees richness to the population and travelling through these areas will bring you into contact with the nature and friendliness of the local people.

Enjoy a scenic drive to the beautiful suburbs of Devonport, which will afford unsurpassed views of the city icons, via Mount Victoria and North Head. From Mount Victoria you will have spectacular views of North Shore city, the gulf and Auckland City as well as remnants of the Kawerau tribe fortifications. North Head has panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf, the Takapuna Region and Rangitoto Island and contains an extensive collection of military tunnels.

Devonport, a historical maritime village nestled on Auckland's North Shore, is one of the earliest settled areas and most noted for its timber colonial architecture. In the 1880's much farm land was subdivided and large wooden villas were built in a style which has now become part of Devonport's charm. The wooden villas have been lovingly restored and repainted, and beautiful gardens developed around them to enhance their glory. Most of the houses are built of solid timber from the Kauri tree, Agathis Australis, a native tree known for its straight growth habit and lack of knots. Enjoy a guided tour of the Devonport Peninsula enjoying the colonial architecture and peaceful tranquillity of this historical village, followed by free time to explore the speciality shops.

Return to Auckland via the ferry at your own leisure.

Take a guided tour of the famous Sydney Opera House, the world-renowned building which is the cultural centre of Sydney’s performing arts. Marvel at this miracle of architecture and engineering; a work of art that came into existence against impossible odds - to become one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world.

Experience the vibrancy of Sydney, one of the world's most spectacular cities, where ornate architecture from Victorian times contrasts with sleek, modern buildings. See The Rocks (Sydney's birthplace), Sydney Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, Sydney Tower, Kings Cross and the artists’ haven of Paddington. Pass through part of Sydney's Botanical Gardens to reach Mrs. Macquarie's Chair for panoramic views of the Opera House, the city skyline, Harbour Bridge and Sydney Heads.

Travel through downtown Sydney for a stop at the coastal resort of Bondi Beach. Bondi is Australia’s most famous surf beach, a crescent of golden sand framed by rocky headlands. Soak up the atmosphere from one of the many cafés overlooking the beach or take a stroll along the pretty promenade.


This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. There is a walk of approximately 500 yards from the coach to the Opera House and approximately 200 steps inside the Opera House. All surfaces are paved, however there may be some uneven ground at Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. There will be approximately 20 minutes free time at Bondi Beach. Due to a strict cancellation policy enforced by Sydney Opera House no refunds will be given to any cancellations made within a week of the call.

Relax onboard your catamaran which offers enclosed cabins with large windows giving excellent views, as well as outside deck space. Departing from Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, sail through the Beagle Channel which is dotted with islands and islets, and lined with mountain peaks.

Mount Olivia, Estancias Fique and Mount Escapado are all seen during the tour, but the highlights are the historic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and surrounding islands, which are home to sea lions and many species of sea birds. Enjoy these sights from the comfort of the catamaran whilst a naturalist guide provides narration on the channel's wildlife and Ushuaia's history.

This excursion will operate by catamaran. There is minimal walking on this tour; however layered clothing, comfortable shoes and a wind/waterproof jacket are strongly recommended. Sightings of wildlife cannot be guaranteed. Depending on the availability of a berth, a 400 to 600 metre walk may be necessary from the ship to the catamaran. Guests must be able to negotiate the gangway to board the catamaran.

The Roman City of Bath and the beautiful countryside which surrounds it, has been described as one of England's most beautiful places to visit. Bath is situated within the south west of England and is a 2,000 year old fabulous spa town, built around Britain's only hot mineral springs.

Bath offers a multitude of fantastic places to visit and is very easy to navigate on foot. Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, the city has some of the finest architectural sites in Europe and boasts a unique and diverse range of historic features, which attract people the world over.

Your visit will begin with a panoramic tour of Bath, with your guide bringing the city to life as you pass the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Circus and the parks, including Royal Victoria Park. There will be approximately three hours’ free time to explore this historic city at your own leisure. Watch the many street performers, visit the Roman Baths Museum, discover Jane Austen’s connection to the city at the Jane Austen Centre, wander around the fabulous shops or simply sit back and enjoy the bustling atmosphere.


Guests who are embarking or disembarking the ship in Southampton should not book a shore excursion for this port.  Southampton excursions are available for guests visiting Southampton as a port call.

This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. The transfer time to Bath is approximately 1¾ hours. Luncheon is not included to allow maximum flexibility. Please remember to carry local currency (pounds sterling). Any walking is at guests’ own discretion. Bath is relatively flat but some streets are cobbled.

Take a scenic drive along the coast and onto the Atlantis Hotel, where you will receive a refreshing drink at an elegant historic property dating back to the 1800's. This boutique hotel is located in the quaint fishing village of Tent Bay, St Joseph, overlooking the spectacular Atlantic Ocean. Relax in the uncomplicated, yet stylish ambience of this unique property, surrounded by colonial furniture, brightly coloured fishing boats and modern amenities.

Afterwards, you will head to Sunbury Plantation House, which dates back to 1660. The house was destroyed by fire in 1995 but has now been gracefully restored. It possesses one of the island’s superior collections of antiques, and in the extensively landscaped grounds, you will see fine authentic examples of the machinery used in the last century.

During your visit to Sunbury Plantation House, a sumptuous afternoon tea will be available for you to enjoy.

Your adventure begins with a drive through the vibrant capital. From the bustling downtown area, turn off the main road to begin your amazing 4x4 adventure. Travel along the beautiful east coast to the abundant hilly interior of this mystical Island.

Papenoo Valley is the largest in Tahiti, with a dramatic bridge which spans the island’s longest river. Passing through the Papenoo Valley is as exciting as it is exotic. You’ll traverse the interior of the island following the line of the cascading valley, rich in archaeological sites, spectacular views of impressive waterfalls. See the cooling mountain streams and vertical cliff faces, laced with green vines and tropical vegetation.

Hear about Tahiti's large native population, who used to live within the valley walls, and see where these inhabitants grew their crops. You’ll visit French Polynesia's only lake, a place which not only boasts an interesting history, but has incredibly beautiful surroundings.

This excursion will operate by 4x4 vehicle. This is an off-road experience and the itinerary may be modified due to local weather conditions and accessibility. The trails can be muddy and slippery, so you may get dirty. Please take bottled water with you. Heading out of Ponta Delgada towards the North East, you will see roads lined with Japanese Cedars, Hydrangeas and Ginger Lilies until you reach Ribeira Grande, a unique city with a strong feeling of Portuguese influence.

Heading further north towards a wonderful lookout point, Pico do Ferro Belvedere spectacular views over the Furnas Valley. Descending the Valley, you will have time to explore the Terra Nostra Gardens. Developed over the centuries, the Gardens have an extensive selection of trees from all over the world, as well as a serpentine canal, grottoes, camellias, ferns and cycas.

With over 22 hot springs, Furnas Valley in the area of San Miguel, is where volcanic nature still remains an important part of the island's culture. Locals still make use of the Caldeiras (hot springs) for cooking a kind of stew called 'cozido' using the natural steam venting along the shores of Furnas Lake.

Your return journey will pass by Vila Franca do Campo, the former capital of the island.


This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. This tour involves around one hour of walking over some cobblestone, gravel and uneven surfaces, including steps. There is a walk of approximately ten minutes on a slightly inclined road from the coach drop off point, to reach the Pico do Ferro Belvedere viewpoint. Comfortable, flat non slip walking shoes are recommended.
