Gavin Robinson
Gavin Robinson - Wildlife Conservation

Gavin Robinson was born and raised in Zimbabwe. He has actively been involved in the many different aspects of wildlife conservation for the past 30 years. Most of his work has been in the relocation of endangered species such as elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah and the African painted wild dog from areas of conflict to areas of safe haven. Gavin managed large wildlife conservancies and is at present a consultant for many of these conservancies.

Gavin’s main thrust is in the crocodile domain. He consults on different issues pertaining to crocodile management in 8 countries making up Southern Africa. At this time he is the only known fully fledged crocodile consultant or “Crocsultant” in Africa.

Most of Gavin’s knowledge comes from him having hands on experience in the field. This has involved dealing with dangerous animals and has helped add to his knowledge of how these animals react in different circumstances. He has a dangerous drug license which enables him to carry out veterinary work out in the field. This includes darting and treating sick animals and relocating them if necessary.

Graham Jones
Graham Jones - Military Music Expert

Dr Jones started his professional life as a musician in the British Army, and after a glittering career spanning nearly forty years he retired as the Senior Director of Music, Household Division and Director of Music, Coldstream Guards - a position unequaled throughout military music in Great Britain.

During his illustrious career he has recorded over 40 albums and been responsible for the largest commissioning programme of wind band music in recent history, commissioning over 30 new works for wind band. He pioneered a music education programme with the University of Salford for military musicians resulting in a new Master of Music in performance degree. Graham was made a Member of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace for outstanding service to military music in 1993.

Having retired at the start of 2012 from military service, Graham is enjoying building a second career as a Guest Conductor, Adjudicator, Guest Speaker, Lecturer, Clinician, Recording Consultant and Educator. He is also the Musical Director of the Zurich Tattoo. Graham is much in demand around the world.

Jennie Bond
Jennie Bond - Journalist and Broadcaster

Jennie Bond has been a journalist and broadcaster in the UK for 40 years. She’s a familiar face on television, best known for the 14 years she spent as the BBC’s Royal correspondent during some of the monarchy’s most tumultuous years. She reported extensively on the divorces, death and disasters that beset the Royal family – as well as the good times.

Jennie still broadcasts and writes about royalty, but also takes part in a wide variety of television and radio shows. She became a national talking point when she flew to Australia for the survival show I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here during which she was buried in a coffin full of rats in the jungle and ate a banquet of live insects.

Nicki Chapman, broadcaster
Nicki Chapman - Music Industry PR & TV Presenter

Nicki worked her way up in the music industry starting off as a promotions assistant at MCA Records, then moving to RCA Records as head of TV promotions, where she began a long association with Simon Cowell. From 1995 until the end of 2000 she was a joint partner in the Brilliant! PR Company which represented among others, The Spice Girls, Annie Lennox, Charlotte Church, Take That, Phil Collins, Billie Piper, David Bowie, Van Morrison and Amy Winehouse, as well as the PR for the BRIT Awards and The Big Breakfast.

In 2000, Nicki was approached by ITV to judge a brand new entertainment show called Popstars, alongside the now infamous ‘Nasty’ Nigel Lythgoe. The winning band, Hearsay, went on to sell over a million copies of their first single, Pure and Simple. She joined Simon Fuller’s management company, 19 Entertainment in January 2001 as creative director, working with acts including Annie Lennox, Will Young and S Club 7.

Nicki continued her role as judge on ITV/19’s Pop Idol, reuniting with Simon Cowell and alongside Pete Waterman and Dr Fox. Nicki has presented numerous factual/entertainment programmes including the BBC’s City Hospital, Escape to the Sun, The Morning Show, Sunday Style, Castle in the Country, BBC Breakfast News on location, Holiday, Holiday 10 Best, Holidays at Home, The Day Team at Chatsworth, RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Wanted Down Under and Escape to the Country. For Sky 1, Nicki was presenter for Made in LA as well as for ITV1's Soapstar Superchef and Best Ever Worst Auditions.

Founded eighty years ago this prestigious school is open to anyone interested in developing their skills in painting and drawing and looking for a creative boost. Situated in the fishing town of St Ives, Cornwall in studios overlooking the spectacular Porthmeor Beach, the Grade II* listed Porthmeor Studios building has been an inspiring workspace for artists for over a century. Today, the St Ives School of Painting operates out of two of the building’s studios. With practicing artists as tutors and a reputation for friendly and quality tuition they deliver short courses all year round in small groups. Covering every conceivable subject, style and medium, these suit beginners to the more experienced. They even run a year long programme that is all about developing your own voice as an artist.
