    Robert Williams

    Robert Williams is an international expert on the darker sides of political and public life. He has entertained and educated audiences around the world for 30 years with his talks on corruption, conspiracies, crime and scandals.

    His CV includes serving as Dean of Social Sciences, as College Principal and Professor of Politics at Durham University and he has been a Visiting Professor in Australia, Canada, China and the United States. Currently he works part-time as a consultant on corruption for national and international bodies including the United Nations, the European Commission, the US Agency for International Development, and the UK Department for International Development and has worked in many developing countries.

    He is the author of 8 books and over 50 academic papers as well as writing for both popular and broadsheet newspapers and broadcasting on radio and television. In his spare time he has been a Probation Service Chair as well as helping  appoint Crown Court judges and served as a JP for 20 years
