    Lorella Brocklesby

    Lorella Brocklesby, who has lectured several times on QE2, is an historian specializing in the history of art, architecture, decorative arts, literary themes, theatres, royal history and gardens. She is adjunct professor of humanities at New York University and has an award for Teaching Excellence.

    She is a Londoner who presently resides in the US. She is academic coordinator for New York University’s summer study programme at Oxford, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She also teaches at Parsons: The New School for Design in Manhattan and the New York Botanical Garden.

    Dr. Hamilton has served as the Chief of Neurosurgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. His first book, "The Scalpel and the Soul: Encounters with Surgery, the Supernatural, and the Healing Power of Hope" (Tarcher/Penguin 2009), won the Silver Nautilus Award in 2009 for “books that change the world.”
