How do I become a club member and what are the requirements?

All guests, 18 years or older, join as Silver Cunarders after completing their first voyage. If your first voyage is between 20 and 69 days in length, you will join as a Gold Cunarder. If your voyage is between 70 and 149 days in length, you will join as a Platinum Cunarder. If your voyage is 150 days or more in length, you will join as a Diamond Cunarder.

What are the terms and conditions of membership to the Cunard World Club?

1. Membership

Membership of the Cunard World Club is automatically awarded on completion of your first voyage with Cunard. Voyages and days on board are awarded to members following the completion of each Cunard voyage. Membership is only available to individuals over the age of 18 and not to groups or companies. Your membership account must be held in your full name as it appears in your passport. You must book in your country of residence and quote your Cunard World Club membership number and the membership number of all individuals in your party, at the time of booking to ensure that memberships are automatically updated and all benefits are received once on board.

2. Voyages and days on board

Your membership tier is defined by the number of Cunard voyages or days on board you have completed. Voyages or days on board will be accrued on completion of the voyage on which they were earned (except on World Voyages, where days on board are accrued at the end of each segment, as defined by Cunard).

You will not accrue a voyage or days on board:
in respect of any time spent travelling or in a hotel, for example as part of a fly voyage or land tour;

in respect of any time you would have spent on a Cunard ship but for the cancellation or curtailment of that voyage, for whatever reason;

in respect of time spent by other members of your party or family (whether or not they are Cunard World Club members),

or for unused berths in your stateroom;

in respect of any nights gained or lost through travelling over the International Date Line during a World Voyage or segments of a World Voyage.

Voyages and days on board are personal to you and may not be transferred to any other person.

3. Benefits

All benefits are subject to availability and all benefits may be withdrawn or altered at the absolute discretion of the Cunard World Club. Without limitation, we reserve the right to make exclusions or exceptions to the availability of benefits. Some benefits may not be available on voyages of 5 days or less. Benefits are personal to you and not transferable. No cash alternative is available. No benefit may be claimed retrospectively, i.e. by claiming a benefit that you were entitled to claim but which you did not claim at the time when you were entitled to do so. No benefits may be claimed in respect of nights spent on a ship for inaugural and overnight events, as an invitee of a charterer of a Cunard ship or any voyage on which you have travelled on a reduced rate fare or as a concession (a list of concessionary types may be obtained from us on request)*.

* During World Voyages your benefits will be reset at the end of each segment, as defined by Cunard. We will invite you to one Cunard World Club Party and one Senior Officers Party, where applicable, during your time on board. On longer voyages (which are made up of multiple voyages) or back to back voyages we may for operational reasons need to restrict the number of invitations you receive, where applicable to the Cunard World Club party and Senior Officers party to one during your time on board.

All on board Cunard World Club benefits will be the same regardless of where you reside. However for Cunard World Club members who live outside the UK, North America, Australia, New Zealand and Germany, we reserve the right not send to you all the information we send to members resident in these regions, e.g. promotional mailings and The Cunarder Newsletter. Brochures showing fares in your local currency may be obtained from your Cunard travel agent.

We reserve the right to terminate the Cunard World Club or change these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Cunard will not be liable for refunds or for damages resulting from any changes to any aspect of the Cunard World Club or for damages resulting from failure to deliver any services forming part of the programme. You should review these terms and conditions periodically for changes.

How will I receive my membership details?

Silver Cunarders will receive their membership packs on their first voyage prior to disembarking. Gold, Platinum and Diamond Cunarders will receive their membership packs at the end of their qualifying voyages.

Can the other World Leading Cruise Line sailings credits be combined with Cunard voyage credits?

Only Cunard sailings are taken into consideration for Cunard World Club purposes.

How do I request a replacement membership card/pack?

What proof is necessary in order to add a previous sailing onto an account?

While a copy of the Voyage Ticket from the missing voyage is preferred to add a previous sailing to your history, photos or other memorabilia may also be used. Please contact the Cunard World Club Desk here for more information.

Does a World Voyage automatically give me Platinum and/or Diamond status?

In order to receive the Platinum level benefits during the World Voyage, you need to have already completed seven voyages or 70 days on board. Likewise to receive the Diamond benefits during the World Voyage would need to be your 16th voyage or 151st day on board.

Do I receive Cunard World Club benefits on all Cunard sailings?

Certain Cunard World Club benefits are not provided on voyages of five days or less.

Does my Internet credit apply to wireless?

The Internet Time Plans can be used for wireless access on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

It does not however apply to Cunard 'Cruisemail'.

Are we entitled to upgrades and/or on board credit with Cunard World Club Membership?

Although upgrades and on board credits are not a benefit, they may be included in exclusive member offers on certain sailings.

Can I change tiers mid-voyage if I meet the criteria for days on board?

Guests must have completed the necessary voyages or days on board prior to the voyage starting. There will be no mid-voyage promotions.

What is included in the Complimentary meal at one of the Ships Alternative Dining Venues?

You may choose to have one lunch in our Todd English Restaurant on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria or in The Verandah on Queen Elizabeth. Alternatively you may choose to have one dinner in the speciality dining venue in Kings Court on Queen Mary 2 or in The Lido on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. The Cunard World Club is happy to pay for a Diamond member's surcharge and 15% gratuity for the taster menu. All beverages and any other incidental charges will be charged to their stateroom account.

If my spouse/travel companion is at a lower tier than I am, will they receive the same benefits as I do?

While your spouse/travel companion may join you at the Cunard World Club Party, Disembarkation Lounge and/or Senior Officer's Party as your guest, we are unable to extend all benefits to guests who do not yet qualify for them.

When will I receive my Cunard World Club Membership Pin?

You will receive your membership pin when you return to Cunard the first time after reaching that membership level. For example:

• You will receive your Gold pin on your 3rd Cunard Voyage or when you join a Cunard ship having already completed 20 days on board.

• You will receive your Platinum pin on your 8th Cunard Voyage or when you join a Cunard ship having already completed 70 days on board.

• You will receive your Diamond pin on your 16th Cunard Voyage or when you join a Cunard ship having already completed 150 days on board.
